MDW 12 (Second MDW trip)

So we are a group of 3 guys and 1 girl heading to vegas from May 24th - May 28th. May 25th is my birthday. We will be staying at the Cosmopolitan. I had a great experience last memorial day weekend when we stayed there, so didn't feel the need to try a different hotel.

(Q. How does the handshake and upgrade trick work at cosmo? and what amount will i be looking at for this. Sorry i have never tried this before so i am pretty much clueless)


Plan for the trip is

Thursday (Alesso) - Looking to get bottle service that night, so if anyone has any contacts over at tryst that they have had a good experience with, Kindly Let me know. I have already texted/emailed Patrick, so hopefully he will respond. Does tryst do B1G1 on thursdays?

Friday Morning - EBC for sebastin ingresso(presale tickets)
Friday Night - Marquee for Benny Bennasi and Fedde Le grande (presale tickets)
Saturday Night - XS for Stevel Angello, An21 (presale tickets)
Sunday Morning - Marquee Day club for Kaskade (presale tickets)



Also will appreciate if anyone could recommend some "must eat" food places. Tried the wicked spoon at cosmo last time. It was decent. Also tried wazzuzu, but did not think it was great.

I have the same agenda from Friday night thru Sun except i'll be at EBC on Sat morning and XS sun night for deadmau5. can't wait.

I've been to Tao only once so others correct me if my memory is wrong, but I recall there being five areas to sit in - main room, upstairs, hallway between mainroom and outside, outside, and Opium room which is off the hallway between the main room and outside. Upstairs gets no foot traffic. The hallway is nothing but foot traffic and too much foot traffic for people to mingle around your table. Main room is where the dance floor is and is absolutely packed. The moat (as Universal said) is the premier table location in the main room because it is right in the middle around the dance floor. Outside is fine if you have your own group that wants to hang together but not if you want to be in the action. Opium room is like its own club inside Tao - different music (hip hop).

I'd say the chances of it working MDW are reduced unless you're willing to tip really well.

Generally speaking, though, people have had success with at Cosmo.
