Best Hotel Bars with Party Vibe

Just go to the Cosmo. On the main floor they have Chandlier Bar and a couple other places that you can hop around from. We partied at the cosmo for a few hours at the different spots around the casino floor and had a blast. One spots even got DJ's and gogo dancers and badass lighting. But its just part of the open space so you can just wander in and grab a drink.

My group will be in town May 18-21. In the past, we've always spent the nights in the clubs. I have spent very little time at any of the main hotel bars (other than carnival court) for fear that I'd be missing the party that was happening in the clubs. But this trip, we might do things a little differently. Are there any hotel bars that draw a good size crowd and have a great party vibe going on? Some guys will be looking to hang out, chat, people watch and have a great time and a few others will be looking to meet girls. I think what we are really looking for is a bar that's almost like a club.

Any suggestions?

We are going in August and plan on doing some of the same. One night we are definitely doing BS and then the others we plan on jumping around. As Chuck has said in the post above, I have heard that Bond and Chandelier bar's both get crackin...We are staying at Cosmo and plan on going to both...I'm curious about others as well...

Does anyone actually get up and dance at the bars in Cosmo?

Really it depends - I see it ALL the time at Bond in the Cosmo.

Some of the lounges at the Palms have a party vibe as well, although that's a pretty far jaunt from Cosmo.

Cosmo gets the nod because they book live bands and live DJ's for their lounges. So you can pretty much party your ass off, which sounds like what you want.
