how much is this? And does it apply to the bottles purchased or what the cover charge is? Really confused on this one.

I've also had it charged to me at Pure. I found this happens when there's a performance by some celebrity. That night, a few years ago, it was a performance by someone like Nelly, etc.
As far as I know, the only way I was able to get around was to wait for the performance to end and then they wouldn't have to charge it.
In Marquee's case, the celebrity they push is the DJ, not some celebrity playing a DJ set or performing. As well, I don't think I've been charged for a celebutante/celebrity to "host" a night (that gimmick wore off fast for me).FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

LET is charged when there is a performence. A DJ doesn't count as a performence. In marquees case, they charge it because of how elaborite the theatrical performence is by the gogo dancers and yes its chargered everyday. The tax is 10% on your bill + 8.2% state tax and 20% auto gratuity. Its already factored into the price of drinks from the bar and it is not charged on cover.Anthony Connelly

Anthony, thank you for clarification. I wondered about that and why Marquee costs so much more.
If this is the case, let's use Marquee as an example. If the group has a table (i.e. grand cabana) with a 3000.00 minimum, would it be this way:
- say 3000.00 for the grand cabana on the patio
- add 10% for the LET = 300.00
...then do they add the:
- the gratuity (20%)
- state tax (8.2%)
(remember this does not include the host, security or runner)
I'm used to the bottle minimum structure where say a club would charge say, 525.00/bottle of Goose, then add the
- gratuity (20%)
- service charge (not sure what this is about) I'm basing it on some AMG property receipts.
- tax (8.2%).
Basically, at what point would they charge the LET if you're getting a table?FO SHO.Originally posted by redbullvodkayou're not ditching them, they're ditching you by not going.Originally posted by kimballYou want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

LET, tax and grat are all calculated on the price of the goods (drinks) . Ie, you don't pay service on LET, or tax on service etc.."...For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come

Pretty sure everything is based on the total price of the bottles/drinks (LET, grat, tax, etc)Originally posted by ashroid View PostAnthony, thank you for clarification. I wondered about that and why Marquee costs so much more.
