Vegas.com Table Reservations

Long time lurker here...I know it's frowned upon around here not to book through a host but my question is:

Vegas.com has a table package for Chateau for $300 for a table, bottle of Svedka (eh) and mixers with tax included. Thinking about doing the costco gift cards to book this making it ~$240. I understand we'll be tipping cash to the waitress, security, etc. when we arrive (we have a 1:1 ratio if that matters) This is for a Tuesday that we were initially planning on taking it easy but if we can do BS this cheap, why not...

Any thoughts good or bad?

Price is good...obviously...If you can get a good deal through an outside company/host I think everyone here is all for it. In general though, if an outside company can offer something, a host working directly for the venue can match or do better. Plus it's always easier to deal direct than with a middle man. I'd just contact a host at Chateau and see if they can make you the same deal. If not, do the Vegas.com thing.
