Palms VIP Access Question

Putting together a bachelor party for a group of about 6-8 guys at the Palms.

I've read some older posts discussing the advantage of doing a Hosted Bar vs Table Service. I can't get a good read on which would be best for us.

We bought a bottle last year at LAX, but the bottle obviously went very quick.

Couple questions.

1. With a hosted bar, is that unlimited drinks of the alcohol they specify? What else do we have to cover, just the Tip?

2. I saw some people saying table service was best because you can jump around to the different clubs. Do you get access to all clubs when you buy a bottle at Rain?

3. One of the "packages" on Vegas.com is a Table Package, but says up to 4 guests. Will the other 2 in our group not be able to sit with us, or do we need to buy something additional?

At the end, I want to find the best deal for us to have a great time.

Are you sure its "Hosted Bar" and not "Hosted Entry"? If it's hosted bar, I'm assuming tax and tip would be additional.

For the 4 people per bottle, it just means it guarantees entry for 4 people on the bottle. The others will either need to cover entry or if you tip your host well, they'll usually take care of the others. Anyone you want that fits can sit at and join your table once you're all in.

I don't know anything about the Palms all access.

You can purchase the "hosted bar" directly from the Palms website. I did this a couple years back at Rain. That's where I recommend you bring your party for the open bar. I did with a group of 5. You also get your own table and area to sit with this option if you do it at Rain or Ghostbar. All costs are included in the open bar. You pay the one price and that is all. Just make sure you tip the bartenders. It entitles you to unlimited drinks that are specified at the one place you choose for 3 hours and also access to all Palms clubs - Moon, Ghostbar, and Rain. I definitely think it's a great option for one night out and much better then bottle service.

Ok.. so if there are 2 of us.. and we do the all access, we can go to each club, only on that same night.. but the "hosted bar" only work at RAIN.. and that is where we get a bottle, and pour drinks ourselfs.. or we get what is similar to open bar, with whatever liquor they specify? I was thinking about buying this package off the Palms website, but I wanna make sure I know what I'm doing before I buy it! 75/a person seems very good to get open bar...

We have a group of 8 going in June, and I was thinking about having half the guys getting the open bar deal, and the other half buying a bottle and table service so we have a place to sit also. Does this sound reasonable? Should I just contact Pasquale at the Palms and have him set this up, with a tip obv.

You sure it was $75 per person for the open bar? I was seeing prices around $130 I think.

I think the $75 option is just for access to all 3 clubs. Skip the line walk on in. The $135 option is for the same thing with the open bar. You choose where you want to do the open bar and have to use the open bar option at that spot only. It's for the specified liquor which I think is Champane, Kettle Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, and Harlem (which is basically Jager). Basically you can't do an hour of open bar at Rain, then an hour at Ghost Bar, then an Hour at Moon. I've done this twice. What we did was do the 3 hour open bar from 10-1 at Rain one time and the other GhostBar, then jumped over to the other spots when we were done. We just flashed the wristband and walked right in past any line. At Rain and Ghostbar we had our entire own sections with couches and tables that we were able to use. We were also able to bring people into that area.

I was looking directly on the Palms website.. it was 10 for a female ticket, i think 30 for all access, then 85 hosted bar

Is it worth contacting a host if we are doing hosted bar? Will it do anything else for us?

Some of the guys are cheap, sadly to say. Can they just get on a waiting list and get in for free, besides tip? If half of us buy the hosted bar, can the other half grease their way in and join us?

i believe the hosted bar area is separate so i doubt it. also, no point in contacting a host if you are doing hosted bar since you are buying tickets and the hosts really cant do much for you. if you are trying to go guestlist, THEN yes, contact a host. and yes, your friends can grease themselves in via host
