  • Question for the hosts

When doing bottle service and the customer gives you his AMEX Centurion card when the group arrives does this make a difference in the level of service the group receives that night?

When I went to TAO I don't think the host even noticed my card when he took it, but in other towns this has been noticed upfront.

I'm sure in Vegas black cards are pretty common, but just curious.

Good question...I know I impressed when I whipped out my Southwest Airlines Visa
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Your level of service (though should ALWAYS be top notch) should correlate to your level of spend. If your spend correlates to your credit card limit then you've answered your own question.

Even in Vegas those that know about the card should be impressed, but it won't get you anything extra. It's like when a guy is reaching for his wallet and he has a couple of $25k chips in his pocket that he pulls out - people stare, but there's nothing extra to give.

I'd even venture to guess that if you were haggling for a lower min or bottle deals it might work against you lol

As others said... it's all in what you spend.
