Vegas Virgin and 7 (male friends) Advice much needed for next week !!

Hi, me and 7 friends from the UK are visiting Vegas for the week commencing May 2nd. Can anyone give any specific advise on how to get the most of the weekend, taking into account we are 8 guys together. It also goes without saying we do like a good drink.

We are all working on a budget of around $300-$350 a day, so bottle service is probably out of the question. Can someone recommend what is the best course of action of getting into clubs and how much it would cost etc.

We are aged from 21-34 and are not into hip hop/dubstep, so mainly house/top 40 is what were looking for. Can someone recommend me the clubs that cater for this throughout the week.

Sounds like either presale tickets or wristbands are going to be your best bet to match your budget. Any of the top clubs should be to your musical taste. Namely XS, Tryst, Marquee, Tao, Hyde

Many thanks for the reply. We could stretch for bottle service definitely, but how much would be looking at including tips/tax etc would it be 2/3 bottles I presume ?. Also would pre sale tickets allow 8 guys in together ?

2/3 bottles would be correct for a group of 7 guys. However, it would be less if you booked a table for 3 guys and the others did presale, GA, or handshake entry and met up with you inside.

There were two guys next to me at TAO last week. About an hour after they arrived at the table a few more guys joined up with them. I'm sure this is what they did. Don't expect to have a table large enough for everyone to sit, but you will have a home base and the perks that come along with having a table like a server to bring drinks from the bar and a lady magnet (bottle of booze).

$300-$350/guy/day can lead to a very good time depending on how you wanna allocate that money. If you're looking to do big dinners every night, then it won't go as far obviously. But if food/gambling is second rate for you and you're looking to spend most of that at pool parties and clubs, that can go far enough. Also, if you don't care where you're sitting, 2 bottles should do it for 8 guys at most clubs. Obviously better locations at xs, marquee and tao will cost more.

Thanks guys that helps a lot. We dont really intend eating out, usually we go to Europe, places like Ibiza,Kavos or Malia for summer clubbing holidays. None of us are big gamblers but I will definate be entering a few poker games at some point.

Basically we always spend most of the budget on Booze :-) We would like to hit some pool parties. Any ideas ?

I'd spend most of your budget on pool parties then...I think you'll get more bang for you buck. Plus if you work with a host at a pool party they may be willing to walk you into a club later that night.

There are plenty good eats in Vegas that don't cost much. Where are you staying? Some hotels are better than others as far as having less expensive options in the hotel or close by.

I'm with you on not trying to show off. I was actually caught off guard when someone from the club had me sign for my minimum while in line in front of the club after announcing fairly loudly how much I was spending. Wasn't a big deal, I just would have preferred my group not know how much I was spending.

Well, for the 2nd, I'd say checkout Hyde Bellagio. Maybe TAO Thursday. For the 4th, we have Cosmic Gate, Nadia Ali, and EDX @ Marquee Nightclub plus EDX spinning the Dayclub on the 5th! When do you return home?

We are staying at the Excalibur , returning home on the 9th. A quick question with pre sale tickets. Would they allow all of us in at the same time ?

With a 7 guy no girl ratio, I never wanna give guarantees without a table. However, arrive early (like by 10pm) and you should be fine with presales with not much of a wait if any.

Timing and ratio will slow entry down significantly if you wait until it gets busy.
