MDW guidance pools, clubs, music, and pricing

Little help please. Coming to vegas 27-30 May for my kid brothers 21st. Got a couple rooms at the Skylofts and had planned on doing it big since it was a (S M T). Regretfully, its MDW and prices are sky high. We are gonna spend some money but i cant justify 5-10k on a cabana just cuz its memorial day. So i have scaled it back from 3 big club nights and 2 big pool days to 2/1 club/pool or 1/2 club/pool. This way we can still do it right without dropping to much coin. Its probably gonna be 6-7 guys with a couple girls sprinkled in there.

I need advice on where to go for these nights and days. I am seeing a ton of electronic music and i really am not a fan of electronic. So if you all could guide me to something top 40/hip hop or at least a good mix of non electronic music for a clubs and pools it would help. We will want tables at all of them so if you got an idea on the minimum spends at the places you recommend, it would help.

As a fellow non-EDM fan, I feel you... unfortunately most of the top places focus on EDM and for MDW a lot of them will be bringing the EDM djs.

For places that tend to don't have a heavy edm focus... try looking at 1oak, lax, pure, tryst, tao, lavo

Pool parties... dunno what to tell you... they'll most likely be all EDM. Wet's most popular among members here so go take a look at their calendar to see if their DJ line up might be ok with you. Tao Beach might be a good option too

We're pretty much the same boat. Getting a table fri and sat, a cabana on sunday and then seeing Childish Gambino sunday night at Cosmo. For the clubs I think we plan on hitting 1oak and maybe haze, depending on which dj/performer they have. The bank on Sunday also plays a lot of hiphop and top40.

I talked to Joey Orr, he's been extremely helpful in planning eveything (even for places he isn't directly associated with) maybe he can help you plan too.

Like Drew said, there's really no way around the "vegas music" at the pool parties but it really doesnt matter. As for Monday, I think everything is still open just slightly less crowded. Except for Marquee, that place was packed last Labor Day.

Most places will be open Sunday/Monday for MDW.

@Noah, Marquee day club is open on tuesdays, yes? If so who would i talk to about getting a cabana for that tuesday. If you could PM the pricing for a regular tuesday, perhaps you could help me get something on the books. Thanks.
