Couple looking to go clubbing for one night

I have lost 20 lbs and am looking to celebrate!

My fiance and myself are looking to clubbing on a Friday night in a couple weeks (May 11). We are unsure of the Vegas scene and how it works. (We are from Chicago.) We are willing to pay some cover but $50 for my fiance is pushing it.

We are fairly open musicwise even though the clubs we tend to go to in Chicago play either industrial, EDM, or Top 40. We are in our early 30s. What club suggestions do you have?

I have read the website and am very confused on how the whole guestlist thing works as well. They state groups of girls but could a couple (male/female) make a request?

Congrats on the engagement and losing 20lbs!! It feels damn good to know you've slimmed down.

As far as clubbing on Friday nights, there are a tons of options so I can see where it can get confusing. Let me start off by saying that Friday/Saturday nights are pretty much good anywhere you go, as those are the big party nights.

NOTE: I believe there may be a few clubs missing from this list.

As far as guestlists go, if it's just the two of you (male/female), you should have no problem getting on any guestlist. Even ratios are welcomed and since it's only the 2 of you, it should be no problem with the hosts.

I agree with NyceGuy. I've gone down with just my GF & I or with two guys/one girl. I usually haven't had a problem with getting in as long as I text or call a host a day or so in advance. I would be upfront in asking if there's a cover charge with it. Make sure you tip the host at the club you decide to go to.

Ive done this before with my girl. Just find out what club you want to go then contact the host from this site. Tell him its just you and ur husband and ask him if he has a guestlist. If he doesnt s/he might just be able to walk you in. Make sure you take care of those that take care of you. Tipping a host could make your night THAT MUCH BETTER.

Look in to presale tickets also. Lots of people suggested that for my gf and i. I have never tried it but it seemed to be the consensus when I asked a similar question.

For big holiday weekend for sure u want to do pre sale tickets if you are not getting bottles. Just contact a host from here and ask him how he could help you. If s/he cant help you for what ever reason then i would go with the pre sale tickets on a regular weekend.

It is not for a holiday weekend so it probably would be okay. I have been contacted by some promoters. Are they okay to use? I also noticed Caesar's has an all access pass. I am just very nervous using hosts since I have never used one. I just do not want to get screwed.

Trust us, use the hosts. Especially ones that are mentioned around the forums with good history. It's as easy as shooting them a quick text about the night you want to go.

Narrow down to what club you want to go to (or a couple), and then find out which host has a good history with the members here. You'll be surprised at how simple and painless it all really is.

Didn't see Marquee mentioned. It's a great spot for a big night as well. We have Joachim Garraud and Cedric Gervais on the 11th. Plus Avicii at both dayclub and nightclub on the 12th.

I don't think you need to worry about getting screwed by a host that works directly for a nightclub. That's just not in their best interest. Just post where you want to go and a member will get you hooked up with a host for that location that they have a relationship with. I just did bottle service for the first time and was worried about my host delivering...its natural to worry. Not only did they come through, they exceeded my expectations. Just stick with a reputable host that works directly for the club and be clear about exactly what you want and how much you can pay. You'll be fine

It kind of depends on if they can waive the cover for you (male). Just ask if you can get on their guest list and if a $40 handshake and early arrival is doable. They'll let you know...please and thank you's seem to go a long way as well
