Girls Trip Advice 4/26-29

I'm the designated "planner" for a girl's trip next weekend and have been reading all the great tips here! Thx guys!!

There are 9 of us (4 average, 5 hot) and we're staying at Aria. Daytime activities are all planned, but just want to run our nightlife plans by all of you experts.

Thursday
Tryst (one of the girls wants to go to Pure, but I'm not so sure. Advice?) -None of us have been to either

Friday
XS - A few us have been and can't wait to go back!

Sat
Tao - None of us have been.

We all love to dance and prefer hip-hop, so I purposely stayed away from Haze, 1Oak, & Marquee. I also checked for any celebrities or special events to purposely avoid so it wouldn't be super crowded. On previous trips, I've been to Bank & Haze.

Also, can I just contact/text the hosts on this site the day before for the VIP line to get in without waiting or cover? (with tip, of course) I've never been in a club without getting a table & a few of us want to get one, but the whole group doesn't want to pitch in... And I don't want to go if I have to wait in line.

Thoughts on any of this?

Check out the April roll call thread (get connected section), there are a few groups who will be in Vegas that weekend including my group which is staying at the Aria as well. As far as contacting host's , we have a few that frequent these boards here and are great people to work with. I think texting your host, introducing yourself giving details of your group the day before is smart. During that text convo you can inquire if they can accomadate you the day of you arriving to what particular club/venue.

xs is not hip hop friendly, whereas haze and 1oak are so maybe its the appearance of the club more than the music that youre interested in? if so, check out surrender.. gorgeous club.

and yes, you can contact the hosts the day before and let them know the who/want/when details

If you want hip hop:

Thursday: Tao/Tryst/Haze

Friday: definitely not XS. I'd pick Pure, Vanity, the Bank, Tao (Opium Room, especially), Chateau, Gallery, LAX, 1OAK or Marquee (Boom Box Room)

Saturday: same choices as Friday.

I'm just basing the choices on your choice of music. XS and Surrender will play more EDM depending on the night.

I'd contact a host at least two days in advance (for me I've usually done it by text).

Not sure if others have been to pure on a Thursday, I went...they only had the patio open. I would not recommend it.

Found out Avicii is going to be at XS sat night so looking for an alternative.
A friend recommended Chateau, but there's no host contact on this site.....anyone know someone there?

Also for those that recommended, Haze, 1OAK, & Marquee (boombox room), don't those clubs play EDM?

Marquee's Boom Box room plays exclusively urban music whenever I've been there.

Hey there, 3 guys heading down 4/27-4/30. Thinking bout hitting 1Oak and Haze on friday and saturday because not as EDM heavy as others. Just what I've seen.

Make sure you go to 1 OAK on Friday, as Fridays are EDM night at Haze.

Thanks for the tip. Staying at Mirage and going to 1Oak on Friday for sure, then Sat up in air but thinking Haze and not sure bout Sunday yet.

just fyi, avicii is at XS on that friday, the 27th, not saturday. tiesto is at xs that saturday, the 28th and kaskade is at marquee on the 28th, so if you want to avoid edm and crowds, definitely avoid those two, lol.

otherwise, i'll be out there with a group of 6 the same weekend! looks like a lot of jc'ers that weekend. good times!
