  • How bottle service works.....hearing 2 different things

The way I'm thinking this is going to work is we have to spend a min of whatever our host says so lets say $2000 and that covers entery? Table? Server? Security? But I'm trying to figure out what bottles we actually get?

My friends went a couple weeks ago and they just chose to walk into a club and ask for bottle service rather then set it up in advance and they where saying they got quoted a price that including all the above plus 2 bottles of goose and 2 bottles of champagne.

Basically I'm asking for the above comment about us having to spend a min of $2000 is that just any random bottles we want? So it could be 1/2 or 4/5 based on the price of each one?

Personally I think it would be a lot smarter to book In advance rather then take a chance of 8 guys showing up but if that's better for us then I might as well do it that way

You can order anything on the menu to meet your minimum. Tips are additional. You definitely want to book in advance through a direct host.

Based on which club it is I do believe some do offer specials where you will get specific bottles, but when all you get is a minimum for the table requested then you can order whatever you want from the menu. And booking in advance is always the better choice, sometimes you get lucky if you don't and can actually get a better deal at the door if the venue isn't making its quota that night but its rare and often leaves you without any table at all, especially when it comes to the popular clubs. Also the minimum is always before taxes and tips, so a decent calculation is always to add 30% to your minimum to see what the bill will be about in the end and then also add the tip for the host, security and runner on top, depending on what you plan to tip to them.

Jerome, you get to pick your own bottles from the menu they have. They have everything vodka, rum, gin, tequila, etc. Some cost more than others depending on brand and size. Hell you can even order drinks like you would at the bar and your server will get them for you.

Also ask your friends what club they walked into and got that deal.

All the statements above hold true. I will add that some venues offer food at night which can go towards your minimum as well. This is especially good to keep in mind for dayclub/pool parties.
