TAO Thursday May 17th

So our group is flying in Thursday May 17th (4 guys 2 girls), and wanted to check out Tao on Thursday night. We're not doing Bottle Service that night, and just want to pay for general admission. What's the best way to do this without waiting in a ridiculous line? Pre pay through Tao's website? Hosted entry? What do you guys think?

Easiest thing to do is eat at Tao restaurant before the club and they will stamp your hand for free entry.

With that said, Tao is the last place to be on Thursday night without bottle service unless you like being packed in like a sardine.

If they were there @ 10 would it be packed right away or could they get in a couple good hours before it was @ capacity?

No, it won't be packed right away, but getting there that early defeats the purpose of going to Tao. It's a place that's all about the party. It's just not a party I would want to be a part of without a table. The experience is completely different.

Funny....I was there the 1st week in March...they had 3 different lines going by 10:30! No other place to be on a Thursday...something for everyone.

Totally right...about 12:30 shit really got going. Would not want to have been there without BS and security for the ladies' bathroom trips.

What I remember last year for mAyOD on the Thursday is there was at least some room to breathe at Tao Beach (it was my first time to see it was open during the summer).

It was quieter (not as ramjammed compared to the main room), so something to consider too if you don't have tables or need some space during the night.

I maintain that Tao Beach is the best thing about Tao day or night. Especially in the summer Tao gets hot as fuck and having room to breathe and being outside in the milder hot air is verrrrrrrrry nice.
