Bottle Service @ TAO (May 11th)

Hey so I FINALLY convinced my group that doing BS at TAO on Thursday was in our best interest... I had to do a thorough breakdown on costs and stuff and I'm also eating half of the costs myself as my gift to the bride but whatevs! I'm happy.

So here's my question. On Thursday we have a package booked with VIPNVEGAS for Chippendales, Strip Tour, Limo and VIP Hosted Entry at TAO. The show starts at 8pm, ends at 9:15pm... and then we tour the strip until about 10:15/10:30 and then we get walked into TAO. Obviously we won't be in the table line so how do I bring up that I reserved a table? Do I have to speak to whoever's walking us in or show them something? I'm not sure how this will work. And in regards to tipping, we don't have to tip the host right? vipnvegas is taking care of that with their "handshake" I believe... but correct me if I'm wrong.

Pay for your own tickets to Chippendales and rent your own limo through a company like Presidential. You don't need hosted entry into Tao if you're getting bottle service. It will be cheaper if you do it on your own.

You need to work with the host you reserve your table through.

Someone with VipNVegas should meet you at Tao to walk you through the process. If not, DONT use them.

Like Universal said why would you pay for hosted entry to Tao when you have a table reservation? And why are you paying a middle man to buy Chippendales tickets and book a limo when you can do all those with a phone call. You are spending a lot of extra money that you don't need to. I've already paid vipnvegas... well a deposit (this was before I knew about this forum) so I can't really change that. The bottle service bit I didn't use them for it because they were saying it would cost atleast $2k or something and the host I'm working with from TAO gave me an all in price for $449 for one bottle at the TAO Beach level. So basically the services of vipnvegas end as soon as they walk us in I think - the bottle service is me working with the host from TAO.

ETA: This was also all done before I knew what a clusterfuck TAO is if you don't get a table. I've never been to vegas! Don't shoot me! LOL

I'd work with your Tao host to meet you out front of the club when you arrive. You won't need VIP to walk you in. The host will take your group to your table.

But see here comes the tricky situation - In the package I booked with them it includes the handshake/tip to the host ... so if they don't walk us in then we're out that money and we have to tip again. Should I let the TAO host know this so he can meet us or what do I do?

Does TAO have a table line? I've read a lot of places have a line for tables so even if you reserved there's still a line up and its first come first serve.

The biggest issue I see is their host may not be the host you're using and therefore someone is getting shafted in this deal. I would cancel if possible. Check the fine print and do what you can to get out of this mess.

I doubt VipNVegas was quoting 2k for Tao beach level. More than likely they were giving you a premium table. Let them know what you were quoted, and see if they can match it.

I never even thought of that! I'll give them a call today and see what they say.

Otherwise, I'd weigh the deposit against how much money you're losing by not booking everything solo. If you still come out on top after losing the deposit then cancel. If it's close to breaking even, then hope they match the price for the single bottle at TAO which I'm sure they'll be more then happy to do.

What's this about losing a deposit? I booked with vipnite.com, paid a deposit, and canceled but got all of my money back. Keeping money when no service is rendered is a bad deal! I'd give them holy hell if they didn't give the deposit back.
