been spying and getting some info on this site and i would like to thank all of you for your help. me and a couple of buddies will be going out and would like to try a club on fri and sat. i have never been to xs, pure, or any of the clubs at the palms. lax would be cool or any club at that but i would like to try something new. lol. one of my buddies used to live out there and he had a few contacts who would get a few of us on the guestlist and get passed the line but he no longer lives out there and its been a few years since ive been out to vegas. we used to tip someone $100 or so and we would be able to get in. i was wondering if there was a way i could still do this? who would i talk to? should i give more thn $100? we dont need bs just want to get in the club and have a good time. also would i be able to get drink tickets in the club? could i tip someone extra money to get some? im sorry if these are really dumb questions but if anyone could answer them that would be great. thanks for even reading this. hope to see some of you in vegas this weekend!!!

absolutely.... my mom was a waitress to support me when i was younger so i understand how important tips are to people who are making a living from a "tip based" profession. is there a club you would recommend. would like some hip hop music and would there be a host or 2 that you think would be more willing to work with me than others? thx for the reply aswellOriginally posted by phillyjare View PostGet in touch with a host and they should be able to figure something out with guestlist for you. It might be reduced cover, it might be a comp, it might just be a linepass. Will all depend on the club.
As far as drink tickets, I always appreciate when my guests tip the bartender well.

Noah - I just asked Anthony this question in a thread. How far in advance should we contact hosts for tables? I typically (at least on the last 3 trips) contacted the host a week out from my trip. I have noticed folks on this message board start the process much earlier, some as early as 4 weeks out. I haven't contacted hosts earlier than a week out because I don't regard a table "reservation" as any more than a request for a table.
