Quick question about Pure

I've been to vegas several times but haven't really been to any nightclubs. I will be going out with a group of 12 guys in late May/Early june. We were planning on getting a table and bottle service on a Friday night. I'm thinking about either Pure or Tao. Unfortunately, I don't know much about Pure other than what I have read on a handfull of websites. I was curious on what people on the boards thoughts are regarding Pure and which club they would choose for a group of 12 guys between Pure and Tao. Reading reviews on yelp would be worthless and I trust people on this boards opinions much more. Anyone have any thoughts. I will say this most of the guys in our group aren't huge partiers and don't go to clubs very often. Not sure if this would be relevant when deciding between the clubs.

Tao without a doubt. Pure would not be a consideration for me.

I must commend someone on their tremendous marketing where Pure is concerned though. Seems like anytime somebody who isn't familiar with Vegas asks about clubs, Pure is always mentioned.

I've actually had some 2 for 1 bottle offers at Pure but have yet to go, Tao is a really nice club.

I know Uni is very partial to Tao if I remember correctly his last TR he had a night to remember at Tao

For me, bottle service is a must at Tao. At Pure, I've had room to move. They both play similar types of music.

Universal: I think Pure is mentioned a lot because of the special guests they bring in and promote for it. It may be a longer running club, but I think it helps that it's inside an iconic hotel.

I was leaning towards Tao and this seems to confirm it. Also, our group will be staying at Caesar's so I kind of want to go to a nightclub not on the property.

Personally I am not a fan of Pure. But as mentioned, they have a great marketing department. In my three trips we have gone there twice because my buddies were all about it.

All my friends who haven't been to Vegas always seem to mention it. It's crazy like that.

The better question should be why did he narrow down his 2 choices to Pure & Tao on a Friday night? It seems like he's ignoring the bigger elephants in the room on a Friday night...and I've only done Tao on a Thursday and Pure on a non-Friday night.....so I'm not discounting either choice.

You may be able to swing some kind of deal at pure. Tao would be my choice though.

I looked into plenty of other places but I based my decision off of a couple of factors.

1) Some of the people in my group. God love'em but a couple of themhave no business being at really upscale clubs.

2) Sort of along the lines of #1. Pure gave me really good pricing otherwise I probably wouldn't have considered it.

3) I've heard great things about Tao and got a good price on it.
