  • Cathouse Groupon

    Hello,
I've had my account for a while but I've never posted, thought this was a great time since I'll be in Vegas this weekend and this groupon sounds great, http://www.groupon.com/deals/cathouse?c=all&p=0 I thought I'd share and maybe get feedback from other users since I've never done anything like this. Basically it's unlimited bottles for up to 4 for $150, it sounds too good to be true. You have to pay gratuity and tax, does anyone know about how much that would be per bottle? I'm a bottle service newbie lol. Does it sound like a good idea? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i read about this, too. Sounds great but im always suspicious with those deals! Did anyone find something that will ruin the night? The Deal description is pretty short... Do you have to pay cover? What about tax and gratuity? Does anyone know more?

Actually this is the least scammiest Groupon I've seen for Vegas in a while. Sounds like they bring you one bottle at a time. I'm sure discretion is at the door blah blah blah. But other than that it looks viable. I'd just call The Cathouse and ask them about it.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

I am not sure but I think this groupon may be just for ladies. In the listing it says girls night out.

I think that's just how groupon matches people's interest (ie. date night, foodie, romantic getaway, ...)
I'm sure the Q&A section is going to get pretty busy pretty soon.

The "Girls Night Out" is just a groupon category for the type of deal, shouldn't have anything to do with this actual groupon. Everything looks legit to me as far as the deal goes, but I'd still call to make sure.

It's not unlimited bottles. It's one bottle (or so it says in the Q&A when someone asked) and you can buy more from their menu.

Has anyone been to Cathouse? Is it worth it?

I read a TR recently on JC that sounded like it's a pretty good spot. Especially for a cheap bottle...

It doesn't say this in the description, but they answered my question in the Q&A section...the tax and gratuity are calculated on the menu price, so if you choose a $350 bottle, expect another $100 on top of that $150 coupon price.

"Actually, the gratuity and tax are calculated on the discounted price of the bottle ($150 value), not the menu price. My apology for the confusion.

I feel cheap whippin' out my Groupon at the local hole in the wall...nothin' says baller like makin' it rain Groupons! Even when i do use Groupons I ALWAYS tip on the regular price...it's not the server's fault management decided to give away the farm, and they're working just as hard. Take the deal on the bottle, don't skimp the tip.

they must be really hurting for business if they gotta start groupon-ing bottles.
