Getting BS first time. Is my plan good?

This is a good time to bring up estimate for the weekend after MDW, for 3 dudes for a table in the main room....what are we looking at? 1200 to 1800 pending on table specifics?

My understanding is holiday weekends are about 1.5 times more. So if two bottles ($900) would do it on a regular weekend Id plan on 1400 to do a low end main room with 3 guys on MDW. Plus tax/tip of course. Thoughts vets?

1k, main room, MDW, no chance. remember a table is NEVER guaranteed. Talk to jordan again and make sure he knows its for MDW.

How is it that the "VIP Hosting" companies will guarantee a table location? Is it just b/c they have relationships with the venues or are they taking a risk by guaranteeing location in advance? They seem to have plenty of margin to work with so maybe they adjust tips last minute when needed to secure the promised location.

The other two dropped out because I could not give them a good estimate of how much money they would need. They made other plans while waiting for me to figure things out.

It just sounds shitty to sit at a crappy table, and it sounds like we will have tons of problems getting in with presales since we have 2 males and a female. We are down to drop like 2k-2200 on Friday and like 1k on Saturday, however it just doesn't sound like we can get anything worthwhile for that much.

It's all good though. Our main purpose was to go see the UFC event, and we have amazing seats, so we are very excited for that.

I am not sure June1-3 is a holiday type weekend....but I am assuming it wont be so I am aiming at 1400....but wondering if that will take us to main room at Tao....dont really care on the spot but main room is mandatory

If I were you, I'd still go for B.S. at Tao with the 3 of you. You will still have an awesome time. I know it will be a packed house, but 2 guys/1 girl getting 2 bottles and tipping $300 is not unreasonable. The first time we ever got bottles there (3 years ago), we were 7 guys on a budget and they put us up on the Tao Beach area, and we still had a blast.....

If I were you, I'd still go for B.S. at Tao with the 3 of you. You will still have an awesome time. Agreed. A crappy table location at Tao is better than not going to a club. Use the table as a home base.

And I think 2 bottles for 3 people would land a fairly decent table location wouldn't it guys? That's twice the typical 1 bottle minimum per 3 people. I'm just not sure if the $375 is a "Thursday" only price. I'd suggest contacting Chris Traer and asking him where a $750 minimum on MDW is most likely to land a group of 3.

I keep wondering how much minimums will be raised MDW, I've seen anywhere from 1.5-3x normal.

When Diddy was hosting his party at Tao we were quoted a 2K minimum for a table not in the main room, I figure this would probably be about the same for MDW and a UFC event.

Not really about bottle to guest ratio as much as it is about how much $ youre spending (2 bottles is only about 1k, which isnt much leverage for a good location)

Just a side note. If you're concerned about being put in the hallway tables or a subpar location, I recommend requesting the TAO Beach nightclub area. It's still a great party and the lower minimum pricing and better then being dissapointed by being seated away from the party.
