Help Plan Our Weekend (3/13-3/16)

Will be heading to Vegas over the weekend of Friday, April 13th and flying back midday on Monday, April 16th for a friends birthday. We will be a group of 6-8 guys although I don't know if all of them will be in for clubbing every night. We are staying at the Planet Hollywood. We are looking to get tables/bottle service at least one of the nights if not two. We are all right out of college so our price range for the group would be in the 800-1.6k range for bottle service. To some of you guys who have more Vegas experience than I, what would be your weekend itinerary for our group and who should I get in contact with?

What type of music are you guys interested in? Are you looking for the best deal or is the party and crowd more important to you?

From what I hear just stick with Joey ^^^ and you're golden whether your doing bottles or not.

We all like EDM/House & Hip Hop. Trying to find a nice mix between value and sick party/great atmosphere that won't drain our weekend budget completely haha. Personally, I would love to go to XS on Friday or Saturday night to see Avicii or Sebastian Ingrosso, but also realize that it will probably be crazy expensive to try and get 5 to 8 guys in on either of those nights.

When I was down in Vegas with my brother earlier this year we went to 1OAK on Feb. 17th when B.O.B. performed (didn't get bottles) and had a really good time. Stayed there all night and loved the atmosphere and crowd there. Also went to TAO and Lavo that weekend, really liked TAO and Lavo was pretty solid but we got there towards the end of the night so it was starting to empty out. There is probably a group of 4 of us who will want to hit clubs everynight we are there, and the other 3-4 guys might just want to go big one night in a big group. What I was kind of thinking was to just try to guestlist or small min the couple of nights when the group is smaller; then step it up (tables, bottles for sure) the night(s) that everyone wants to go out.

Is 1600 your budget for both nights?
You could presale tix for XS on Friday or try greasing your way in then hit up Joey for bottles at 1OAK on Saturday. That would be a solid lineup. What would they be looking @ for bottles on Sat Joey?

1600 would be our budget for both nights. I was on wanttickets.com and it looks like all the presale tickets at XS are sold out for Friday night for Avicii. I have never been to XS (or the Encore for that matter) so how crazy does that line get on a Friday night? And how much greasing would be appropriate to try and get in?

I have no idea if this is out of bounds but it came to mind...I wonder if you setup bottles @ 1OAK for Sat if Joey could help line up entry to XS for Friday. Maybe $50 to him for making the call for you and $100 to the host @ XS when you get there. $200 for drinks Friday night would leave $1250 for bottles Sat night @ 1OAK. As I said, never tried something like that but it sounds feasible...

Edit: After I wrote this I realized you have 6-8 guys...so this doesn't seem quite as feasible anymore. I think 1600 for two nights and 6-8 guys is going to be a challenge for Tier 1 clubs.

Just wanted to point out that members are making it real hard for hosts to NOT solicit on the boards. Remember we still have the no soliciting rule being enforced. I would hate to see hosts get banned because of it. Try and make any "arrangements" or talk money transactions with hosts via PM if you can. Just wanted to point it out.

chuck, would you recommend just hitting a tier one club up one of the nights then maybe getting wristbands at the palms or hit up a lounge the other nights w/our budget?

Let's try and break down your budget real quick and see how we do assuming the lower end of 6 people...

Bottles - You'll have a two bottle minimum

(2) @ $450 = $900
Tax = $73
Server Tip = $180
Host Tip = $200
Security Tip = $20
Runner Tip = $20
TOTAL = $1393

That leaves $200 for the other night. I think PURE may do a B1G1 deal for JC members though. That would really help. Does anyone else know if they do a B1G1 at PURE on a Fri or Sat and how much the Palms bracelets run?

Im going there the same weekend, and I can tell you right now for XS, with avicii and ingrosso playing, that budget wont cut it(im at a 3k min for an inside table for avicii). even for a non-headliner dj night at xs, $800 for 8 guys is basically impossible since you will have to buy atleast 3 bottles.

if i were you, id just do 1 big night of bottle service.. and either general admission the other nights or as you said, the wristbands. ive done the palms wristbands and they work wonderfully. you can purchase them the night of, at the stuff store (next to the entrance to rain, diagonally across the elevators to ghostbar)

That deal at Pure sounds awesome. Sounds like I'll have to contact him and talk about getting that B1G1 set up. I think if we go out Saturday night and have a good time it might be easier to convince some of the other guys to do it again on Sunday. Thanks for all your help Chuck!
