  • Best Party Spots that Arent Clubs

My last time in Vegas we had a blast at Cosmo on a Fri night making the rounds on the Casino level. They had a live band at one spot, bangin music and go-go dancers at another, the Chandlier bar was ragin'! Where are your favorite party spots with no cover/line?

Totally different vibe than cosmo obviously, but the bar inside Bill's is always a blast for us. Plus it is a decent break to go from paying for bottle service to $3 Miller lite bottles.

This upcoming trip I will not be center strip so I have to find some cool spots around Luxor, MGM, and NYNY area.

I haven't spent much time in the south strip properties other than Mandalay/THE Hotel. Mix was easy to get in and a cool place to hang for a few drinks. My wife and I got in free on the guest list through the concierge.

Has anyone been in Margaritaville since the renovation?

I have not been done there much either. I know we will be in the center strip a lot, but it will be fun to explore some of these casinos a little more. Have not been into Margaritaville since, Sorry.

At NYNY, I'd recommend BATS (or Bar at Times Square), great and energetic Piano Bar.

Back to the thread question, there always seems to be a spot that just organically becomes our group's meet-up point. Depending on the time of day, it could be the Sportsbook (Love the books at Aria, MGM, Wynn and the LaGassee Sportsbook at Palazzo) or could be a hotel bar. A few spots from the past would be:

            Chandelier Bar @ Cosmo
            Center Bar @ Hard Rock
Parasol Up / Down @ Wynn
Laguna Champagne Bar @ Palazzo (reason: they're always giving away free drinks, champagne or other cocktails)
Napoleon's @ Paris (Sentimental favorite - my first glass of Macallan 25 was enjoyed here with a Cuban cigar)

Gold is going to be that spot for our group this time. I read so many good things about it that we included it as a must stop. Also, I have friends that say the piano bar at NYNY is cool, I always had a great time in the piano bar at Harrahs.

+1 Napoleans had some good times there. One night we spilled an entire table of martinis and they replaced them for free.

It may just be the fact that I'm always trying to re-live my Tuesday nights at the fraternity house, but the 3 hour, $20 open bar at Blondies inside the Miracle Mile Shops next to the PH always attracts a decent sized crowd that promotes debauchery.

Carnival Court at Harrah's is a pretty fun time day or night. Rarely a cover, no dress code or anything, and drinks are about average, but there is flair bartending. Rhumbar is also good. It's lively...drinks are high but will be made properly. Really fun atmosphere.
                      I just don't give a shit.

                        +1 for Carnival Court

Come as you are, very strong drinks, and a great party atmosphere. It's good at all times of day on the weekends.

Never had a bad time there.

I think the new Senor Frogs at TI will have this kind of atmosphere. The ones I have been to in Mexico have been hella fun and they never charged a cover.

'Ritaville & Carnival Court are both great places for a party atmosphere with no pretentiousness & a fun vibe. Diablo's down at Monte Carlo is a good time as well. At Planet Hollywood, Cabo Wabo Cantina is hit and miss but with Blondies in the same vacinity both are worth a shot.
