Looks like an interesting place, just doesn't seem to have much buzz. Seems to me if you want to try a place out that's easier to get into it might fit the bill.

I think it's funny when people ask questions about Chateau or Gallery, theyre good questions and I would like to know the answer, but they always get like 2 or 3 replys. Ask the question about XS or Marquee and the thread will last for weeks. Guess that sort of answers the questions about them.

Lol good point. I really didn't know anything about that place until a few days ago. Seem like a pretty coo spot, but doesn't attract any big time dj's so I'm guessing why that it's not as popular.

I've been to Chateau and Gallery a few times. And even before Gallery when it was Prive. Chateau used to be something else but I forgot now. Thats how it was not memorable there. LOL.

Its ok for what it is when you go with a group you want to hang around and have a good time with. If you're not into seeing certain DJs then those clubs are ok. They just dont keep going like the big clubs do and stay packed til 4am+. They tend to die out earlier from experience.

I went on a Saturday night back in November and the main club was overly crowded and didn't seem that great, but the Chateau Gardens (take elevator to open air patio under the Eiffel Tower) was a lot of fun. Nadia Ali was there and performed several songs and they played EDM all night.

Not sure if they still have them (it may have been just part of their Butterfly promotion), but they had people dress up in extravagant costumes as mystical woodland creatures and there was also a woman in a glass coffin who would play dead and then move towards people as they approached the glass. It was different, but a cool, unique touch for a club. Can't speak for the main club and not sure how crowds have been lately, but the Chateau Gardens seemed like a nice change of pace from the craziness of a Marquee or XS when you need those "quieter" nights.

A friend of mine that works at Chateau, told me its more of an urban crowd, not like crown, but that's what they said. For what ever reason, we dont get a lot of reviews for clubs with a more urban crowd. We cant control what type of members join the forum, so it is what is. Im sure the more the forum grows, that will eventually change.

Ive never been to Chateau, so Im just relaying what I was told.

I think Chateau and Gallery aren't really big name clubs tho. They opened but you didn't hear much about them afterwards, so hype has a lot to do with it too. Marquee got tons of hype (for good reason) and it's always talked about.

Went to Chateu in march of last year, mike minichino (sp?) the "your fired" master from rehab hooked us up after we met him at the beer garden where he had a party for the jersey shore. We enjoyed the outdoor bar overlooking the strip for about a hour, went inside for about a hour and left early, it was Saturday and we were gassed. I think there's to many better options to go to and wouldn't go out of our way for this venue

I hate the inside layout of Chateau.

Only time I did enjoy it there was at the Gardens right under the Eiffel Tower. That was pretty cool and the crowd was decent the time I went there. Other than that, I wouldnt pay much to get in there. Its pretty to get in free on most nights so if its free, we're nearby, no other major plans and we can just walk in real quick to check it out, we usually step in there for an hour or so to check it out.

Do you guys prefer the real crowded clubs or "the busy but not as crowded club" seems like you couldn't enjoy yourself in overly crowded club

I've been to a club where its super empty(Gallery and Chateau) Its empty to the point where you can totally run through one end to the other. LOL.
I guess if you have your own group your enjoying with, it doesnt matter. But it just feels weird when its empty like that.

I've also been at Marquee and XS where its IMPOSSIBLE to walk around. There's a point where its just capacity and its uncomfortable. Also even if you're at a table, the crowds are pushing through the ropes and it looks like a wall of people about to fall over.

The best is when its packed enough to keep the place pumpin and busy, but still comfortable for everyone.

My dream "club" (a club actually feeling like a club" not a public manic fucking free for all fire ******** bill bullshit) would be sold out tables putting the venue at 20% capacity then a 35% female 30% male ratio bringing the capacity to 85% and ladies drinking free till 1am would just be the place to be!
