  • Vegas Bar Golf viable?

    Hey guys,

I will soon be embarking on Vegas for my 10th visit (do I get a plaque or something?) for yet another bachelor party and we've decided to try something different this time. I'm sure some people have heard of this but we plan to play a round of bar golf for one of our nights. The basic rules are that you pick a certain number of bars (holes) and you receive "under" scores for every drink you have. Generally we do -1 for a beer and -2 for a shot. Also if you plan ahead of time you can list special, high alcoholic type drinks and make them -3. So basically you make a custom scorecard and you keep score and the goal is to have the lowest total by the end of the night. There are obvious penalties such as drink spillage (+1) and puking (+5).

That being said, I'm wondering how viable it would be to do this on the Strip. Even though I've been to Vegas a handful of times, I can't seem to remember if theres a nice strech of bars (doesnt have to be too close together) in order for us to pull this off. The bar itself doesnt matter (no clubs for obvious reasons). Anyway, I thought maybe some of you are more knowledgeable about this and could help me out.

    Thanks for your time.

I think you could easily pull this off walking the strip, and hitting up hotel bars.

I would imagine since every hotel has at least one bar this could be easily done.

It appears the IP will be going through some sort of face lift to compliment the addition of the Linq project (in addition to the "Imperial Palace" name being taken off the strip, and a smaller-scale version of O'Sheas is said to be in the works as part of that renovation.

Casino Royale won't really be effected, so the $1 margs/coors lights and $3 craps tables will remain in tact
