Okay guys. Need some help. I'm hoping a few hosts may be able to chime in. I've been to Vegas a few years back for July 4th and it wasn't considering a big deal back then. I follow these boards daily and haven't really seen any big indication to see that has changed in recent times with the exception of maybe last summer. With that being said, main question is July 4th falls on a Wednesday this year. Will the clubs be raising prices for admission, bottles, cabanas or daybeds, etc or holding any special events over the weekend for July 4th. If so will it be the weekend before 6/29-7/2 or 7/6- 7/9? Right now I'm looking at taking a trip from 7/5-7/10. The flights are cheaper and the rooms were a bit less then the weekend before leading up to July 4th. So I'm hoping that would put us in good shape in not having to dish out extra money to go out.

I'm there the same weekend, fly in Thurs to Monday...staying at the Cosmo. Its a weird holiday since it falls in the middle of the week.
I had the same dilemma ...so I verified date for the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans, and then I checked a few of the DJ's
Since Tiesto is DJ'ing 7/6/12 at XS and 7/7/12 at Encore Beach Club I knew I picked the right weekend.
I know my logic is strange but works for me.

The fourth is sort of a weird holiday for Vegas. There will be big lineups and good parties that are busier than normal. However, since it's mainly a family holiday it won't be as busy as say memorial or labor day. You shouldn't get outrageous minimums, but may pay more than normal if it's a big DJ.Promotions

Yep Rehab, EBC (encore beach club), Wet, Marquee all have the biggest host DJ's on Sunday. Check out the "day life" & pool party section.Comment

Hey fellow IDW goers! I booked my stay at the Luxor due to its proximity to the MB convention center. I will be attending the UFC Fan Expo and UFC 148 on Saturday night.
If I wasn't so focused on this MDW trip planning, I would be in full-blown excitement mode for this weekend. Planning trips is so damned fun!Comment

yeah it was funny, my first day pool party was at Bare (Mirage)! what a way to start! Since then, via this forum, I've learned that there are 3 parties a day in Vegas....day pools, night life, and after hours (Drais)...rude awakening but welcomed.Comment
