Question about tipping....

Emailed the host at 1OAK and got on the guest list for Sat night, it just us two girls....what's the tipping etiquette in a situation like this?? If the host is there, do we tip him? If not, do we tip the doorman? Thanks for the help

Also, what is a reasonable time to get to the club?? Only my second time to Vegas so sill leaning he ropes, lol...Sat night is "I Love NY Saturday" there, says it starts at 10:30....too early??

In this situation, I'd be more inclined to tip the host rather than the door guy as he's actually the one that put you on guest list. That being said, since you're both female, I don't think he's expecting a tip.

But, if you're feeling extra nice ... you could always text the host back and ask if they will be around that night for a walk in. At which point you could tip $20 (or whatever less than 50% of regular admission is) for that walk in to express your gratitude.

All this being said, it's probably a moot point, because you're female. You shouldn't have to pay for anything in Las Vegas =)

Leave that to the groups of guys with bad ratios, hehe. Either way, have fun! I hear 1OAK is jumping during Industry Tuesdays!

I would tip. I've never had any door guy or host accept my money for the guest list, though. I do offer every time.
