Marquee

I heard Marquee has a hip hop room. How's the crowd there? What would be the best night to hear a good Top 40/Hip Hop/EDM mix at Marquee?

Yeah Marquee has the Boom Box room. I've been in that room a handful of times over the past few months to grab a change of pace, but never really for extended periods of time. Honestly the last few times I've been the ratio hasn't been as good as the main room. Not to say there aren't any attractive women in there, just seems like the ones that are there always has a crowd of dudes around them ... more so than in other rooms. So it's kinda hard to just grab one to dance.

The crowd in general is mixed, with more of an urban slant. If you're there on a good night you may see an NBA player in there with tons of security around their table.

Any night at Marquee is best to hear a mix. When you want to hear hip hop, go down a couple flights of steps to the Boom Box room. The opening DJs usually play some Open Format mixes up until about 1:30, then depending on who the feature is, the night will go more EDM heavy after 1:30.

I went to marquee's boom box room the day before the last pacquiao fight and it was packed like sardines!! Couldn't not move at all!! And I agree with kablooey, more like a sausagefest.. Typical male wallflowers watching the chicks dance who also had multiple guys grinding on her the same time.. Ugh.. I lasted all of 5 mins before I went back up.

So it seems like 1Oak on Friday, and Haze on Saturday is a good look for a mix of Top 40/Hip Hop/House. Is the crowd good there? We definitely wanna see some hit girls on Friday/Saturday night, especially since we'll be doing Bottle Service. What other spots could we check out on Friday and Saturday to hear a good mix of music, and see some hot women?

How about Monday night? Specifically April 30th. I'm hitting up XIV at Hyde on the 29th, and I would like to "slow" it down a bit on Monday. I know Aoki is at XS on Monday, but also looking for more of a "relaxed" atmosphere......ideas.

What type of music are you looking for? Are you looking at possibly doing lounges as well? Elaborate.

Sorry, I was vague......top 40.....lounge would be approvable as well. Not sure how burnt out I will be after XIV as it sounds as if it's insane....which is a good thing.

Monday's have usually been my downtime night until recently, but on Monday's I've only been to Tabu (played hip hop/top 40), Carnival Court (flair bartending, but the bartenders recognize me) and Marquee (love the spot).

Been to Tabu and love carnival court. Never had a bad time there.....thinking of Marquee, but Hardwell is there that night and I think the tables are crazy expensive for a monday night.
