Has anyone ever heard of TAO doing a B2G1 on a Thursday?
They have the "Yin" and "Yang" deals but those aren't exactly a great deal.

Yes, there are deals to be had on Thursday, but the better the deal the worse the location of your table will be. You'll need to meet the required minimum to get into the main room.

Right now I'm at a $1250 minimum for 6 people. Told the host I'm def doing a bottle of Goose and DOM and 12 waters. My group is wishy-washy on other bottles so I may do the rest in bar spend. I'm also going to be doing a birthday cake so really I'll be spending close to $1500 before tax/grat. Would be nice if they threw in a bottle of Moet or something.

When I first spoke with him I promised a $200-250 tip. Planning on bumping that to $250-300 at this point if he's lining up the cake too.

I asked the host if they do anything special for birthdays when I inquired about the birthday cake and I'm waiting to hear back from him.

I would suggest spending the extra money and getting a table in the Main Room. Try to get Cabana 21 or 22

The minimum will be slightly higher, but its worth it.

For $1250 you will problably be in the Opium Room. That room gets really really crowded. Its like night and day from the tables in the main room.

The #21 or #22 cabana will give you a nice table slightly off set from the crowds.

I've already been reasonably assured the 1250 min and 250 tip to the host will get me in the main room. This is a Thursday btw...not sure I mentioned that earlier.

We are 50/50. I'm probably not going to ask for anything up front. Maybe once they show us to the table...It's not a must that I get a hookup on another bottle and I don't like coming off as a cheap-ass looking for a hand-out.
