Less house, more rock

Will be going to Vegas (for what feels like the millionth time) on April 27 for a 2 week stay. And let's face it, I don't really care for the mega clubs (42 yo and this time traveling on my own and without a gang to hang with they become really annoying if you're me) but would like to find some good bars/clubs that play a lot of loud rock.

Options and alternative? Suggestions? And hey, I'm open to hanging out and sharing a bottle or two if you're up for that (and don't get scared by long haired giants).

if i remember correctly, rok is top 40/hip hop.. and also will be closed by then (closes april 1st)

+1 for the Double Down. If you like dive bars, you'll like the Double Down, and its open 24 hours.

Thanks guys. Rockhouse is more hip hop than anything else afaik unfortunately and Doubledown (along with Stage door if that is still around) is a favorite dive hangout of mine.

House of Blues at Mandalay Bay has rock bands some nights. Might be able to find something decent during a 2 week stay.
