When do you start packing?

About a week or so prior I'll start and do a little bit each day. And, yes, a list is a must for me. I divide it into 3 sections: Tasks, What To Pack, and What To Purchase (that I need to pack).

Unless I'm at a 5 Star hotel I ALWAYS bring 2 of my own big towels for showering. The towel situation at most lower star hotels is a pain in the ass. I'm 6'4 210 and need like 4 of those t-shirt size towels to get me dry, no bueno!

Oh yeah I need to add a damn powerstrip to my list....every outlet is usually in some weird place if it's not already taken.

Damn I thought I was the only one who did that LOL. Actually I pack an extension cord cuz I like to keep my phone next to my bed and also for when I'm ironing if the outlets are out of the way.

Yeah scooner I feel ya...we also pack our own speakers (just got a jawbone jambox) but i don't think it's loud enuff for pre gaming shit Vegas is an annual experience & we leave nothing to chance.

This year we're packin a rollup extra bag just to hold the items we get from Walmart that 1st day....it's embarrassing walking thru the hotel with 15 Walmart plastic bags while chaser, condoms, liquor, tuna packs, sunscreen start falling out all over the place uuugh!

I pack 2-3 days before. Then, I unpack the day before and only repack what I need.

I've already started...sort of. I hate packing so usually what I do is when I hit the 60 day mark of my trip, i'll gather all the stuff I don't plan on wearing during those 60 days and throw them in the suitcase and put it off to the side. So that by the time crunch time rolls around, majority of my packing is done.

60 days? You must have an extensive wardrobe to not need those clothes for 2 months lol

I just pack the night before, if i forget anything can always buy it when you get to your destination, except if the thing you forget is your passport in that case you're screwed.
