B1G1 & JC Specials

to resurrect this thread a bit, i received the industry special of one bottle of goose and one bottle of moet for $395 through ryan perrings last monday for steve aoki. great table location outside right next to the stage. he also offered me a 2 goose/moet special for $700, but we were only 4 people. i asked about it day of...i really don't think it works to ask more than a few days beforehand, because it may be based on capacity, etc.

I got the Goose plus Moët deal (x3) at XS last year for Aoki Monday night. We booked it a couple of weeks in advance so I don't know how much it matters when you book.

i've asked about EDC weekend for tyrst (thurs) and apparnetly it's not available mainly because they know vegas gon be live that week due to EDC

Try Pure...that's the only place I've heard of outside of the Goose/Moet deal that's done B1G1 recently. Other places I might ask would be LAX or Chateau or Gallery. Might have more luck asking for a B2G1 and tell them up front how much you're going to tip.

If I were trying for a B2G1 bottle deal I'd plan on tipping the host $400 and not plan on a great table location. That tip is much cheaper than paying for the third bottle.

If a host is gonna feel like I'm trying to nickel and dime them and in turn they stick me with a shitty table location, its probably just more worth it to go with full price. It seems very cost prohibitive to be identified as "cheap" by your host.

I don't think a host has a problem with someone asking for a "deal". I just think you have a better chance letting them know up front that you will tip well for said "deal".

Sounds like holiday weekends are a no go from another post I read recently...It's not an advertised deal like the Yin/Yang deals at Tao so it's totally up the the host's discretion as to whether they offer it or not.

yup. someone posted in another thread that they asked their tryst host about the goose/moet deal for the thursday before edc and the host said no-go. sounds like any holiday/event/maybe even fight weekend, it'll be a no-go.
