Before I begin I would like to say thanks to all the jc members here for all of their helpful hints/tips and advice. I am a new member (1st post) to the site and a huge Vegas enthusiast. I am in need of a little advice so hopefully you guys can help me out.

    Background
I've been to Vegas around a dozen or so times, mostly with my parents who are by definition classified as "high rollers" so everything has essentially been taken care of me in terms of fight tickets/Club entrance/bottle service and all of the perks that go with losing large amounts of money lol. The last couple of visits I've done solo trips (which I actually prefer) but they have never fallen during a special weekend or holiday. I have a trip booked for may long weekend this year, and know its probably the busiest most expensive weekend of the year. I guess my first question is I know I have to plan early but is there any way to find out what Dj's will be playing where each day/night ? My second question is, outside of bottle service what is the quickest way of getting into a day/night club during this weekend ? usually I just show up early enough and have never waited very long. Any help would be great, thanks.

If you're not doing bottle service on MDW, the best way to go would be the presale tickets on Wanttickets.com or the various sites of the clubs you're attending (Ex. Marquee has tickets on their site that don't have the fees that the ones on wanttickets have).

Pre-sale lines move rather quickly too, just make sure you show up at a a decent time (10-10:30 is fine).

starting next month id check the wantickets and individual hotel websites for tix/event info on a regular basis, right now is too early. purchase as soon as you can because prices will go up and some tix to some events may sellout fast with no re-release of additional tickets later on.

btw if you're going to any events at cosmo id book thru wantickets and not the cosmo website. I got errors on there and was charged multiple times for marquee back in october. cust service was apologetic and promptly refunded me but the whole situation rubbed me the wrong way. just a heads up.

say you went the presale ticket way. How much is a Jack and coke, goose and lemonade etc from the bar at Marquee.?? I would usually do bottle service but dont fancy getting raped that weekend but need to see if the sums add up for presale and heavyish drinking

        cheers
