  • Flying Solo Thursday March 29th

I am meeting up with a bachelor party (of dudes I mostly don't know) on Friday the 30th, but because I'm away on Business I'm flying into Vegas Thursday and will be a One Man Wolfpack. Any suggestions on what to do? I've been to Vegas several times, but never a moment on my own. I don't gamble, don't do strip clubs, love the day/nightlife more than anything. I know what clubs are good and have used Tom Gorman and Mikey T in the past (who are great BTW)...I have lurked on the board for a while now...but felt like posting now because I've never been to a club solo...don't want to be squished like a sardine on a floor. I am accustomed to getting tables, but its not something I am going to do Solo...so what is/should be my gameplan?

If I was solo on a Thursday, I'd do Parasol Down then Tryst.

i've done this a few times and never had trouble getting in anywhere. Just mention you're solo and looking to enjoy the scene and have a few drinks and slip the guy a 20. works every time.

Well except once at tao on a thursday night...went in "vip" line, it was early so it was pretty empty. guy was nice about it but told me to go in the bar adjacent to main entrance and find a girl to bring in. (i didn't attempt to give him $$ either though) I had a nice laugh with him and told him I was married and probably shouldn't. Either way went inside that bar for a few and bounced.

Never had any trouble otherwise though. It's kinda cool going alone, definitely not something i'd want to do often, but not a bad option to post up by the bar, chat up some randoms that come to get drinks and make friends with the bartender.

I was however SUPER cautious of who I talked to and where my drink was at all times. Probably stick out like a super easy mark for some who intend to be dishonest.

I'd consider something like carnival court as well...always a friendly crowd and less formal if you're not comfortable standing in a club alone.
