I think they become bottle rats when they decide to go out with the sole intent on drinking other peoples booze without any sort of interest in the people whose liquor they are drinking. Not saying that they have to be DTF, but if a girl wants to come partake of my bottles, I'd like her to at least be genuinely interested in our group at the table as humans, rather than just interested in our bottles. Just my thoughts on it =)
Never offer an open bar to a Wisconsinite... =)

I always look and sound completely genuine when siphoning off your vodka. Promise.

What do you call a lady just looking to rest her feet? An ass rat?

Touche'!!!....If a drink is offered to a girl or girls, this whole discussion is pointless.

Sure they can rest their feet... But only if they sit on my lap.
We have this issue to a lesser degree here at home- where the hotties just expect you to buy them drinks.
I just tell them my name and say come back in 30 and ask me, if they remember my name I'll usually do it- but most just look for easier prey, and you never hear from them again.

I think an ass rat only comes over looking for a piece of ass...nobody is complaining about them!

Seat rats are cool too as long as they're good wing women. It's not too cool to take up valuable real estate with your back turned to the crew. At least help the guys look like they're fun to talk to so that when you're done resting your feet some other ladies will swoop in with good intentions!

                          easy problem.

impose a mental 15 min trial period where you don't give them alcohol. if they're only interested in the booze, they'll leave. If the booz is #2 or #3 on the list they'll stick around.

i almost feel like that unless the deal gets closed or pretty damn close or at the very least you hang out after you leave the club. most guys will be like she was a bottle rat. i might even say that. i have a fragile ego.

Usually i'll let people in, if they asked for a drink/grab a bottle, security is usually showing them the way out within 30 seconds

Most of the time i'll chat them up, get a feel for it and maybe offer them a drink 10-15min later
