Hi guys. I've been planning a bachelor party for this weekend, and up until a couple of days ago, it seemed everything was lined up and ready to go. We had a patio table at Marquee reserved with a $2K min for 8 guys (Sat, 3/17). Seemed like the right move for us, considering we didn't want to be right on the dance floor, but we also didn't want to be in a separate room.
Now, a few guys have flaked out at the last minute, and we might only have 5 guys participating. Assuming we're working off a reduced budget, what would you recommend?
1. Lesser patio table at Marquee? Our host has been accomodating and says he can do a $1.5K min for our smaller group, but it will be for a "very basic small table."
2. Maybe try the Library Room at Marquee? I've heard mixed reviews, and I know it's set away from the main room. However, the fact that Saturday night could be windy makes me think this might be better than the patio.
3. Try another club with lower minimums? We are staying at the Aria and therefore were thinking about Haze.
Thoughts welcome. (And yes, we could also ask everyone to kick in extra money to keep the same reservation, but I'd like to know what the other options are.) Thanks in advance.
