Sorry everyone for asking this but I'm quite unsure about "The Line".
In Europe, where I'm from, ppl waiting in a line are very strict about "standing in the line". This means, everybody is standing behind each other waiting for his/her turn to get in. There is no such thing like "passing ppl" "pushing ppl aside" waiting in the same line. I'm speaking of luxury/mega clubs. Of course there are other places where this is happening.
Reading terms like "heading to the front" etc. made me a bit unsure. Could somebody tell me if there are any "rules" in the line of a club? Are ppl well-behaved, waiting for their turn or are ppl draggin/pushin/shovin each other to the doorman?
Do "hotter" (more extraordinary) ppl arrive at the door earlier than the others? if yes, how? If you decide to tip the doorman to get in before others, how do ppl do it? don't they have to wait in the line for their turn?
cheers
