Lavo Old School Wednesdays...

Looking for some advice on the type of music played....going with a bunch of guys that like hip hop but not sure if they are into 80s rap as much. When they say old school, how old are we talking

also any advice on table locations or are they all pretty much the same?

I was just there (3/7/12)...its a hiphop mix...DJ literally plays less than 30 seconds of a hit and mixes it to something else...it ain't old old old school though (you won't hear Dead Presidents or MC Lyte)...nothing to worry about cause every girl is moving and the dance floor stayed packed.

As far as table locations, there's a few on the the dance floor, behind the DJ off the floor, and behind the main bar near the entrance.

And btw, its not a huge club....but it was great for a wednesday night.

Thinking about checking it out this Wednesday but it seems like it has the potential to be a total brodeo. Somebody please tell me I'm wrong.

U b wrong....I'd be surprised if any venue n Vegas turns out to be a sword fight unless u go on an off night during an off-season time of the year. Surprisingly I went for the 1st time last week and it was unseasonably cold in Vegas lows 47 degrees, Got there before midnight, it looked empty since there was no line out front but once I went in & upstairs....it was packed & busy. I'm glad I went cause it was hip hop which was a nice change from EDM.
