Well im sure by now everyone has heard RPM will be officially closing its doors march 24th. This will be the last night it is open with the Kevin Hart afterparty. No it wasnt because the club sucked or it wasnt because people didnt do their part in making it successful. The Tropicana was given an offer by One group who owns Stk Las Vegas and Bagatelle in NYC. The Trop couldnt turn down this offer because they had previously lost a ton of money with Nikki Beach. RPM was doing great and getting absolutely great feed back from everyone that attended the club and i will personally say 100 x's better this time around. But the trop couldnt refuse this offer.
With that being said and closing it down they are planning on not only Re-branding the nightclub and the pool club but that side of the Tropicana will no longer even be the Tropicana. The tower that RPM was in will be now known according to my knowledge as Bagatelle Resorts. Bagatelle Beach Club and Bagatelle Night Club. Stk in the cosmo is a very very succesful brand and One Group has made literally everything its touched very successful.
What will i do? This is a great question that i dont even know the answer to. I know regardless Jc members have been nothing but supportive from day one since Nikki Beach opened and you guys dont realize how great that makes me feel and i appreciate. Jack Colton himself has emailed me time to time and has been extremly helpful to me as well. I actually got a call yesterday around the same time as i heard the news (im assuming they heard it to) about getting scooped up to help run a branch of a company with nothing to do with night clubs. I would be trainning in LA for a few months then re-locating to Australia to run that part of the company. Not sure if im going to do it yet or i may go to another nightclub as several have reached out to me already. Bagatelle will be reaching out to ALL previous RPM employees over the next several weeks on positions with the new resort and to be honest im not sure if i want to be a part of it. Not saying i dont but i have put literally blood, sweat, and tears into Tropicana. Wether it was Nikki or RPM i did whatever i could to make the place successful and finally when it started to pick up steam it got bought out.
Sorry this was so long but wanted to clarify what happened and to be honest im not sure what i want to do or where i want to go work wether its in Vegas or not. I will continue to help out Jc members regardless wether its at a venue im at or not and i appreciate all the support.
Thank You
