RPM closing already?

Heard RPM's employees were given 14-day notice and the club is closing. Also heard talk of a possible buyout of some kind?

wow really? don't see any hints of it on the various twitters/fb yet. richard wilk, rpmvegas both have tweet from 4 hours ago talking about how great the party was last night... that's crazy if true

I heard it from someone who was heavily involved with Club Nikki/Nikki Beach and still knows everybody at RPM. I've also seen multiple conversations about it on Facebook since my post.

If its true it's Deffinately not because chad hadn't put his fair share of hard work in. Bummer, things are changing, osheas is closing down 4/30. I will probably knock a piece of the wall off or grab a memoir from that place to stick in my man cave when I'm out there on 4/29

Seems the venue just can't shake the stigma that goes along with location/resort. Sucks for those involved.

Damn, guess I gotta find new plans for 3/24. Staying at the Trop and was looking forward to it. Chad definitely had me pumped to check it out. Hope everybody gets another gig quickly.

thats crazy if this is true. i wish chad the best of luck with whereever he ends up.. definitely a stand up guy.

As a business owner I can't help but wonder what a typical LV nightclub's break even is each night. It has to be ridiculous including talent, venue expenses, insurance, staff, etc.

I don' know how much I am allowed to say, but here goes...

RPM is going through some changes. Hosts are not losing their jobs, and RPM will reopen mid May, probably in time for the invasion. The only people given the 14 day thing were promoters.

This is from someone internal to RPM. I'm sure Chad will be able to provide more info once he hops on and sees this thread. Chad will still be there as well according to this person.
