Wristbands, Open Bars & Happy Hours

I'm trying to compile a list of wristbands, open bars and happy hours on the strip. These can be a good alternative to doing bottle service, when the price is right. Please correct me if any of the following is incorrect. The wristbands are valid through the entire span of days listed.

VIP All Access Wristbands:

• Rain, Ghostbar, Playboy Club & Moon - Friday & Saturday - $60 Male / $40 Female
• Tao & Lavo - Thursday through Sunday - $150 Male / $40 Female
• Marquee - Friday through Monday - $150 Male / $50 Female

Open Bars/Hosted Bars:

• Rain Hosted Bar - $90
• Moon Hosted Bar - Friday/Saturday - $90
• Moon Hosted Bar - Tuesday - $75
• LAX/Saville Row - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday - $50 - 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM
• Gold Lounge - Thursday/Friday/Saturday - $20 - 10 PM to Midnight
• Doohan's Bar & Lounge - Every Day - $25 - 5 to 10 PM

Happy Hours:

• V Bar (Venetian) - Daily - 5 to 8 PM
• West Wing Bar (MGM Grand) - Daily - 5 to 8 PM
• Eye Candy (Mandelay Bay) - Daily - 7 to 9 PM
• Society Cafe Encore - Monday through Friday - 4 to 7 PM
• Yard House - Monday through Friday - 3 PM to 6 PM / Sunday through Wednesday - 10 PM to close

Jack posted a bunch a while ago on this thread, but since it's from 2010, many of them may not be valid anymore.


I'm a bit surprised at the price increases of the LightGroup's wristbands. It also looks like they no longer give you access to the pools, although that may be just because they're not open yet. Last year I got the Tao/Tao Beach/Lavo wristbands for $50 and they worked out great. I've read great things about the Palms wristbands on this forum. Does anyone know of any other open bar, wristband or happy hour deals that I may be missing? I'll edit the thread with any other info that anyone posts.

wow the tao ones are 150 now?! wtf! i used those when they were only $50 and they were golden.. tao, tao beach, and lavo.. what a steal back then

Yeah, that's what I saw on Vegas.com - which is where I got them for $50 last year. I guess too many people caught onto it and they jacked up the price.

Moon on Tuesdays is 3hr open bar for $75

Noob question here.

Ten old high school friends are going to a bachelor party 3/31 and are all staying at the Palms. I'm anticipating that most of them will not be up to putting on clothes nice enough, or paying, to venture into Moon. However, say when I land on Saturday afternoon I convince a couple of buddies to venture over to the hosted bar at Moon that evening, is it too late at that point to contact a host? Is a hosted bar and entrance, w/o bottle service, something a host would be interested in assisting people with? Any other advice for someone who may be making their club decisions at the last minute?

Shadowsjc - thanks for the info.

Robbondo - bottle service I've always set up through hosts, but wristbands and tickets, etc. I've set up through sites like Vegas.com or the club's website (like Marquee). My feeling is that you may have difficulty getting in touch with a host last minute for something that is not bottle service. I'd try convincing your friends that may be interested now. You can always show up to a club around 9:30 PM - then you should be OK. Anything later than that will be difficult without greasing for a group of guys.

I haven't heard of this directly, but I wouldn't be surprised if happens.
