  • Skipping the Line?

My next trip to Vegas is end of April. Pretty much know where we're going on all nights. Friday night is open to whatever, but i just seen Avicci is at XS on that Friday. Bottle service there that night isnt in budget Is it possible to just contact a host and have him get us right in without waiting? Clearly would tip accordingly

this is something that gets confusing for people, and annoying for hosts. now that i don't work for the concentration camp anymore i can talk about it....

if you just want to skip the line, no host wants to take time out of their busy day to talk to you. our job is to sell bottle service. (guest list is an exception). there is no need to call host if there is no guest list available (like a night at XS where avicci is spinning). everyone has seen a movie where a tip is passed off to a nightclub host right? right! its just like that... walk up to someone at the ropes, tell them how many people you have, and hand them money. calling them does nothing for you. first of all no good host who enjoys there job is going to talk to you about a price tag of a line pass over the phone. especially if they don't know you. second, the price is going to vary... how big is the line, how many people, who do you know, etc...

ok... how much money... well that all depends... does your group of 2 weigh 600 pounds? it may be a little more costly for you... let go with... you are a normal looking group of people with no land beasts(4 guys/2girls), and someone like avicci is spinning. you're probably looking at anywhere between $30-$50/person. a little less for girls. never walk up to the line with less than $100. franklin is a really good motivational speaker. also, the biggest rookie mistake is trying to haggle... this will put a bullseye on your forehead and you will be in the back of the line for a long time.

    i hope this helps.

The line for online presale tix at XS, even holiday weekends, is pretty much nonexistant. Longest I ever have to wait is 5 minutes. But if you must, a $20 Handshake with one of the suits walking up and down the GA line along the wall always works for me if its a night where they don't have presale tix for sale online. Yes you still have to pay cover on top of it, but if you are in a hurry to get in like I was or just not in the mood to wait, a minor expense.

good call... forgot to mention the pre-sale tix. they don't hold the presage line so thats the best option.

Well to be honest, I did not really have any plans on calling a host over the phone to haggle over a price to get in. By contact I meant maybe shoot a text to him when I am out there or find one when I am near the entrance. I really hope giving a host a C-Note to get in the door is not considered "annoying"

                      is this per person??

What is the best way to do this with anyone at the gates? Just have the money in hand and handshake them?
