Electric Daisy Carnival (June 2012)

Early to talk about Vegas in June, but we just booked a trip and are staying at Hard Rock June 9th. Trying to figure out why stuff was so expensive, we found out EDC was that same weekend. Anyone around Vegas that time last year? Is it crazier then normal? Will Hard Rock be more crowded? I heard they run shuttles back and forth.

We are in our 20's and looking to party, so were hoping the Carnival adds to the trip, even if we don't attend.

it's going to be packed and slow at the same time. I remember working the door at ghostbar during EDC and around sun down the casino floor would be full of people in bright colors and furry boots. not a single one went up to ghostbar.

that seems strange, were the clubs still busy?

I attended EDC last year, already have my pass and hotel booked for this summer (Vdara).

The party is at the Speedway, it is crazy if you like House music. Hung out at the strip (stayed at Flamingo last year, last minute booking ) during the day, partied all night at EDC. Breakfast in the early AM, nap, gamble, drink, gamble, eat, nap and back to the speedway.

Can't wait...

To answer your question, Vegas will be packed during the day, remember Marquee day club was tough to get in. The clubs at night though will be fairly easy to get access too.
