  • VIP Hosting help

    Hi all.

I am coming to vegas along with 7 male friends from 15th - 20th March and am after some advice on using a hosting company rather than going direct.

We have provisionally booked using a company called red carpet VIP who have excellent feedback on their website and the local nevada business bureau sites.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge of these and can kindly comment.

So far they have arranged the following for us (8 people)

Friday Night - BS @ Haze
Saturday Day - BS & dance floor table @ Wet Republic
Saturday Evening - BS @ XS (steve angello playing)
    Monday - BS @ Marquee

This has cost each of us about $1300 so $11000 total which seems pretty reasonable to me.

Does anyone have experience with this company?
They suggest tips etc are all included. They also suggest that the tables are decent (mostly dance floor tables and they can walk us straight through any lines. does anyone know if this is true?

    Any help would be appreciated.

You should be fine. They better all be bad ass table locations for that price. You need to find out what your min is at each venue. Are you spending 11k on 9k worth of alcohol? That's my guess right now.

The prices i quoted are based on the following:

Haze = 3 bottles of standard liquor
Wet Republic = $2000 minimum spend
XS = 3 bottles of standard liquor
Marquee = 3 bottles of premium liquor

The full quote of $11000 also includes $250 for a return limo pick up from the airport.

Their quote also says it includes all taxes, tips etc so i can effectively leave my wallet at home (not that i would of course).

This is the reason for asking the question. I dont want to get there have a great night and then not have money set aside as a group to give a tip to the bouncer, waitress etc if they are expecting one. It would be good to get some feedback from anyone that has used these before so i can ensure my group has enough money to look after themselves and the people that look after us while we are there.

I had booked through VIPnite and canceled to book directly with the host.
I crunched numbers for hours. You WILL save money going direct to a host. VIPnite quoted me $950 for Thursday night at Tryst using a Goose/Moet special that actually costs $395. Looks like you planning to drop some cash, I'm sure hosts at any of those places would work with you.

My quote for TAO from vipnite was $1695 "all included". That was for 2 bottles at TAO on Thursday with $1050 bar spend minimum. This would have put me in the Opium Room our Lounge or lounge with low end bottles.

I booked it myself, will be about the same cost after tips and tax, maybe a $100 or so more but I'm getting THREE bottles, one of which is DOM, and will be in the main room.

So for the same price I got an extra bottle of DOM and a better table location going direct. IMO that was well worth the time.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Do the Limo yourself using Presidential Limo. It's cheaper, they kick ass, and you get a free bottle of bubbly when they pick you up from the airport. http://www.presidentiallimolv.com/La...b-Specials.php

if he's using red carpet or VIPNVegas at xs he's getting a decent table. maybe even better than back wall depending on if they have a big DJ there. both companies have something worked out with one of the directors.

all in all, you're still over paying regardless of how you look at it. yes its nice for one person to make all of the phone calls for you, but most of the club host on JC, will help you set up your whole trip. Not many of us in the city take the time out to be on here, but the ones who do are very humble and helpful. (sorry for stroking my own ego)

                        Hi All,

Thanks for the feedback so far. in response to a few of the comments:

XS on the saturday is def Steve Angello playing. we were told we could get a dance floor table but was a lot more expensive. Red Carpet VIP have shown me the seating plan for XS and we specifically chose our table which is not dance floor or Patio. From memory it looks like it is inside still by the bar and near the stairs (not ideal location as not dance floor but seems ok). Do they always deliver on the tables we specifically chose.

Wet Republic: We have been told we have a dance floor table on this which is why the minimum spend was $2000.

Haze: We have again seen the seating plan and apparently have a Main Dance floor table (opposite the DJ booth).

Marquee: Again we have been told we have paid enough to secure a dance floor table.

The only issue i then have is whether we may have overpaid slightly and if we get there and the tables are not the ones we have been promised.

A couple of you seem to have experience of red carpet vip and say they have deals with the management. I dont mind paying slightly extra as long as its all dealt with and we get what we were promised i suppose. (they have told me i can pay for each event at a time so if they do not deliver then we are under no obligation to continue with them.

I'm sure if they promise a location they will come through, I haven't heard from anyone or read a review indicating that they don't follow through. It's good they are letting you pay separately for each event so you're not all-in blind.

If the extra money gives you piece of mind and you're good with the cost, then by all means go for it. I would take the advice and shop it though if you have time. I'm sure there's many hosts on here that will pull off the same outcome for less premium than you're paying vipnite.

Regardless it sounds like a bad-ass trip. Most importantly, tear it up and have fun!
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Thanks for the advice and has given me a little more confidence that people know red carpet VIP. I am coming over from 15th-20th march and plan on enjoying it. I'll definitely be coming back so next time I'll make sure I speak to you guys on here and go direct through some of you. Thanks again

Just wanted to add my two cents...

This is for a party of 5 guys.
I'm planning to get a table at XS for Tiesto on April 28.
However I was told by two different contacts that it's too far in advance to really get an idea of pricing. Fair enough. Ryan did mention that it would be at least 3k minimum for an inside table though. I wanted to inquire about the patio/terrace tables but again, too far in advance to get pricing.

So for the heck of it, I contacted Red Carpet VIP and they were able to give me some numbers. For an inside table, total bill (incl. tax, tip, etc) with two bottles of Goose was going to be $2500. The location was the bench table on the side of the club facing the bar and near the exit I believe. To me that's already a deal considering it would've been a $3k minimum not counting tip for host, etc. For the patio tables, it would be a few hundred less. Unfortunately I don't know what the minimum for a patio table would be, I'd have to wait til early April when I re-contact Ryan and another contact to compare. I'm debating on whether to jump on that inside table now since I know it's the cheapest option or wait for more pricing regarding the patio tables. I'm still debating which type of table is best - I'll probably start a new thread regarding the pros and cons for each table. haha

gareth250480, after speaking to Red Carpet, I think you're in good hands. Please let us know how everything went! Have a great time!
There's always something waiting at the end of the road, if you're not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place..........
