Marquee Friday GA

How much of a cluster is the Marquee GA line Friday nights when the club opens? I believe Dash Berlin is this Friday.

We'll prob have a group of 6-8 guys and 4 girls.

We'll have 2 room keys so I believe 4 of us can get in free and use the 'hotel' line. I'm hoping to get in when it opens and get stamped, then maybe head back up to the room to pregame.

If the line seems like it's gonna be messy and ridiculous - it may be easier to do wristbands at palms.

Any advice/input is much appreciated. Thurs cannot get here soon enough!

I mean... Marquee is always kind of a mess if you're not buying a table. And your ratio sucks a bit so if you can, have the guys get in in the hotel line and the rest try GA? Some nights people start lining up at 8-8:30 and the place doesn't open till 10. They should also be selling tix on the Marquee site?

Buy pre-sale tickets on Wantickets...you go in via a separate entrance on the 3rd floor completely missing the mess on the 2nd floor. The tickets usually have fine print that says entry is limited to groups of even girl/guy ratio at doorman's discretion but as long as your group is well dressed I've never had problems getting in with a group of mostly guys.

Yeah I agree.

also, the keycard doesnt always work. its up to the discretion of the club according to their concierge, and that sometimes when theres a "big name" dj, you will end up lining up in GA anyways (although i cant confirm since ive never stayed there.. might want to check on that)

Can anyone confirm the 3rd floor entry? The bottom of ticket says to go to first floor:

Dash Berlin with EDX. Guests are required to bring a printed copy of the e-mail confirmation, a valid photo I.D., and the credit card with which the ticket was purchased to the level one door for entry. The door reserves the right to decline entry of any guest not in proper dress code. Marquee reserves the right to decline entry due to capacity issues. Visibly intoxicated guests will not be admitted to the venue. Marquee is a 21 venue. No minors admitted.

This makes me think we will still be in the GA line clusterfuck.

You go to the 1st floor to Will Call to pick up the physical tickets - it's a closet/door thing over in the corner, just ask any security guy where it is. Once you have the tickets, they'll tell you to go to the 3rd floor - there is a glass elevator right there you can take - and that's where you will enter the club.

This was the process at least when I was there in December.

I'm basically in the same boat bc I'm thinking about checking out Kaskade on Sat, March 17th. Bottle service is going to be a little bit too much so we were thinking about purchasing the presale tix from wanttickets.com. However, my biggest fear is that we'll be stuck in the normal GA line.

I used pre sale tix for Marquee last Labor Day Weekend when Armin was spinning. Got there about midnight and used a completely seperate entrance (I think it was on the 1st floor). No line at all and we were 3 guys on a big holiday weekend.
