Vegas Noob Planning a Trip for Vegas Virgins

I'm kinda lost as to what to do in terms of nightclubs for my trip. 3/9-3/15. I've been once before and had a great time at XS, and I definitely want to go again. Would you recommend bottle service for 3 guys including myself?

What other places do you recommend for those dates? I've heard good things about practically everywhere else like Pure, Haze, 1OAK, Rain, Marquee and Tryst to name a few!

I see a lot of these websites offering "VIP Walk-In" service. Is that a real thing? Anybody want to recommend someone? The last time I went to Vegas, 2 years ago, I went with a friend who goes there often and he arranged/paid for everything so I'm completely lost. Any help? Thanks

this site is a good source for all you need. I see you are headed down the right path. Start by searching the forums for info you want, its all here.
If you want VIP ENTRY, contact the names (hosts) listed on this site, you can trust them, they can help you.
You are going for almost a full week, so you have plenty of time and options. See which clubs "own" what nights....., find out what music they play and discover the vibe. Find out if there will be guest stars, VIPs, celebrities or guest DJs at the club/night you want to attend. That can change the prices, but can also make you want to be there more.
Bottle service is great for 3 guys. My word of advice....... if you can afford it, buy an extra bottle, extra beers or something so that your table is not "dry" when you invite ladies to join you.

Search, Research and Search again...Also, I would stick with the Hosts that the JC main page provides...There are great tools and contacts within this site regarding Vegas, use them...

Like others that said, I would stay away from those Walk-In sites. Many of those dont deliver that they say. Go directly to the venue staff.

Thanks guys. Sounds like good advice. I had a question about Tao, if we eat there (we were planning to anyway), does that allow us to enter the club or is that just a separate thing?

@GP7787 We are staying at the Palazzo. Funny story of how the trip got planned. We were sitting around having a beer and I was telling my Vegas story for umpteenth time. The two people I was with said "Oh, I've never been to Vegas" and we basically just book a trip right then and there. I had not stayed at Venetian/Palazzo and I heard good things so we just booked at a pre-pay rate right there, it seemed like a good deal bundled with our JetBlue flights. I found this site later and realized we probably could have done better but what's done is done.

Sometimes that's the best way of planning a trip! You guys will love it there. Palazzo is top notch.

By staying at Palazzo you will be a walk away from: TAO, LAVO, XS, Tryst, Surrender, plus The Cosmo is a quick cab ride away.

I also think I'm going to do Pure, one of my friends is actually a big fan of Laura Prepon, who is supposedly celebrating her birthday there.

Does anyone know how that sort of thing works? Like would she really be chilling there or is it just a cameo/paid appearance to get people to go? Thanks

You really never know. I rarely go to places with a celeb guest, but when I have, Ive never seen them. I have seen a lot of celebs though, just never the ones that were scheduled. lol

Hmm you're probably right dnix. I've read some iffy things about Pure and I think I'd rather go to the Palms for the night. I have reservations for N9NE anyway on Friday night. Does anyone know if those VIP Wrist Bands are easily available on that day or should we buy them ahead of time? Thanks

Yes, you can buy them at the stuff store (next door to Rain) right before you walk into the club. Save a couple bucks from the online surcharges too.

Its actually kind of funny watching people stand in line, when they can go next door and buy passes that will let them right in. Ive never seen a line at the stuff store. lol
