that was what me and dnix were trying to say your going to spend almost 1300 alone on 2 bottles when those same 2 bottles you can get for 395 plus tax and tip. hence our replies. Thats why we were saying your paying 6-700 dollars more on that service then u need to just in bottles

This is for my wifes 30th birthday and is a surprise. So I really want everything to go smoothly. I have absolutely no problem tipping, in fact, I love tipping for great service.

I emailed Patrick with Tryst back to ask about the Goose deal but haven't received a response. I'd probably buy another bottle if I got the Goose and Moet for 395.

Honestly my hesitation stems from a fear of our table getting sold out from under us. Does anyone know if I can prepay for the table before the club opens to ensure this doesn't happen? Or is this fear unfounded and nothing more than Vegas-lore.

I guess I'm still on the fence as to whether or not the patio is the way to go. Has anyone been on the patio? It may be more fun inside even if all six of us don't have a seat at all times...the guy at vipnite said with Goose deal we'd have a table by the bar that seats about 4 people. One of our favorite things about partying in Vegas is meeting new people. If I did the Goose deal plus another bottle could we get a "prime" table location?

I would tweak your plans for a Thursday as follows if it was me doing this for my wife and in the company of good friends

Start at Gordon Ramsey steakhouse (if it's open) at Paris bring a couple bottle of wine, enjoy a fantastic dinner and views of the bellagio fountain sing happy bday

Have the limo pick you up at Paris and cruise the strip until your tired of it, photo ops, Pre drink in the limo etc

Have the limo drop you off at Wynn at 11 and get to your table. Enjoy the night at tryst, at midnight have the server pop your bubbly and bring over sparklers and shit and sing happy bday again. Close that place down till 4am and take the wife back to the room .

Remove the Ty Ku shit - 450
Remove the shit show at Tao - 110

Dinner, who knows if you guys split it but prolly 80-100 each and that's including drinks and corkage.

Chuck's getting two bottles on the patio, one of Goose and one of Champagne. That's $495 + $475 (his prices, which seem reasonable), plus 8.1% tax, plus 20% gratuity for the server. That gets you to $1,243 even before you tip the host.

A different question is whether Chuck's table minimum would have been that high if he had gone to Tryst himself. But assuming he and his party were looking to do Goose and champagne anyway, this seems like a good get for $1,300 all-in.

I have in the past week contacted someone from Tryst and mentioned this deal. Only got a generic quote on 1 bottle of goose as a reply.

That's done automatically at most venues when you're bottles are delivered. No need to request it.
