I recently booked a Thursday night package with vipnite.com consisting of the following:

1 hour hummer limo charter
Hosted entry for 6 to TAO
Limo transfer to Tryst
Patio Table at Tryst with Goose and Champagne

All for $1300

How'd I do?

well lets see
one hour hummer limo ride- usually around 100-150 bucks an hour

entry for 6 at tao- ladies are free guys are 20$ reduced so lets say 6 guys thats 120 bucks

limo transfer to tryst from there probably a 60-75 ride

and they got you a package thats 395 and after tax and tip lets say 500 bucks

So i would say around 845-900 bucks the most thats worth. But for someone to plan your night if the extra 3-400 is worth it then go for it

terrible for a Thursday. that $300-$400 tip could of gotten you better table than the patio

I did use the contact for Tryst from this site and did some checking around on the limos on my own. Here's what I came up with. BTW our group is 50/50 guys & girls.

Hummer Limo = $125.00
Tax= $10.13
Driver Tip = $50.00
TAO Entry = $60.00
Limo Tansfer = $64.00
Tax = $5.18
Driver Tip = $20.00
Tryste Bottle (Goose) = $495.00
Tryst Bottle (Champagne) = $475.00
Tax = $78.57
Host Tip = $250.00

This ads up to $1632.88 and we'll have to wait in line at TAO.
I still have plenty of time to book this directly, I just wasn't able to get the price as low as you did from what the contact at Tryst was giving me. Am I missing something?

Oh yeah, I requested the patio table. A couple people in our group will prefer taking a break from the madness inside every once in a while.

Microsoft is having their convention at the Venetian that week so I'm sure the line will be shitty at TAO. I'm happy to pay extra not to wait. I appreciate your feedback.

i agree with dnix i was just saying it nicer. Theres nothing wrong with using an outside company at all but the good thing about this site even coming from a host perspective is to get more bang for your buck. You can have me host your night and tip me and it be still cheaper then that. Its just knowing what you can and cant get in this city. For example if i set up tryst on a thursday i can get a grey goose and champagne deal thats 395 after tax and grat thats about 500 bucks. Slide the host 100 bucks for setting it up for me thats 600. They will put you on the patio anyway because of the deal so theres no need to tip extra to get that spot. Tao i could walk the entire group in without waiting and at most the guys would pay 20 bucks to get in if not for free. So your already saving money there. The limo ride i would have to double check on prices. Like i said its just using the right people and getting the right "bang for the buck" Theres nothing wrong with tipping for good service just make sure its great service

IMO I think you can do better for Tryst on Thursday night. $250 tip also is a bit high for patio and 2 bottles, no deal and just 3 guys . Which host was this?

Chuck's getting two bottles on the patio, one of Goose and one of Champagne. That's $495 + $475 (his prices, which seem reasonable), plus 8.1% tax, plus 20% gratuity for the server. That gets you to $1,243 even before you tip the host.

A different question is whether Chuck's table minimum would have been that high if he had gone to Tryst himself. But assuming he and his party were looking to do Goose and champagne anyway, this seems like a good get for $1,300 all-in.

I learned about the Tryst deal on this board last year and took advantage last summer. It was ridiculous. Great club on a Thursday night and we got 6 total bottles (3 vodka, 3 champagne) for $1200 before tax and tip.

To be honest, your biggest mistake was not making this thread before your trip. One of us would have gotten u hooked up with the best deal possible, rather it be host or member.
