At Crown Nightclub inside the Rio we just started Soulful Thursdays (recommended for 25+) featuring old school, soul, R&B and funk. It's a new night (2 weeks old) so we only expect 400 to 600 people. On Friday we have Ladies Night which has been bringing an incredibly huge crowd. 3 to 4 hour line after 10:30pm (no exaggeration). 100% Hip-Hop and R&B. Strict dress code for men. Recommended tie, slacks and dress shoes. For a less urban experience, Chateau, Pure, LAX, Vanity and Gallery should play mostly hip-hop hits, and some of those spots offer free guest lists etc.

what does it usually look like on Saturdays?

Saturdays are very popular as well, featuring DJ Franzen (good friend of Drake, recorded "The Motto" at his studio). 2000 to 3000 people average. Bottle service highly recommended. 80 tables usually fully committed 3 days to 2 weeks in advance.
