Worried about the line @ XS for Tiesto 2/4/12

Hi guys. I plan on going to Vegas for the upcoming Superbowl weekend. As we all know, Tiesto is going to there @ XS on Saturday.

My group is 2 guys (including me) and 2 girls. We'll be buying the online tickets. I've been to XS on Saturdays many many times, but never during busy holiday/big DJ events. So I'm worried a bit.

I will not be getting bottle service.

- For those who've been to XS (without bottle service) on a very busy night such as this coming Saturday's, what time did you get to the line and how long was the wait? I've heard some crazy stories of people getting there around 8pm at which point there was already a HUGE line during major summer holidays.

- With those online tickets, are we guaranteed entry at any time? (Given that I'm not hammered out of my mind, right clothes, etc.)

I'm thinking about going to the line at about 730~8pm. Will this be an over-kill?
I'll be very happy if I can wait in line for 1 hour and get in by 11pm. But I don't think that's going to happen this Saturday..
I expect Tiesto to come on at maybe 1 or 2 am. I don't know how I will last that long, since I usually pre-party hard.

I was at XS MDW last year (Saturday and Sunday night) and I want to say the line started forming around 9-9:30ish. I got there around 9:30 and the wait wasn't longer than 30 minutes. MDW is one of the busiest weekends in Vegas, so I'd say getting there around 10-10:30 should be okay this weekend.

I saw afrojack at XS on 1/1. The unorganization of the staff was pretty redunkulous as every one with a suit was telling something different. But here's a quick run down, if you had pre sale tickets we were told to run over to the opposite end of the Casino into a room labeled Brahms 3 (conference room) to get our tickets. Room was setup with ropes for crowd control but since we showed up at around 9:15 there was no line. Got our tickets walked back and lined up in small line mixed with GA and presale ticket holders. This line was just to get ID checked and hand stamped, after this we were put in a seperate line to hand over our tickets. Was in the club by 10:30 after all was said and done.

Best bet, purchase your tickets online, get your actual tickets early the day off form the XS box office. Arrive back with tickets in hand around 9:30-10p.m and line up. Tickets do not mean guaranteed entry but if you get there early you shouldnt have a problem with capacity issues.

Wow, you even remember the name of the meeting room. There was a short line when I went to get my ticket around the same time for the Afrojack show, mostly because the host checking IDs was busy berating 3 underaged girls and 1 guy about their apparently fake IDs ("This is pathetic. Where did you get these? If you paid more than 50¢ for them you got ripped off.") When I left after getting my ticket hotel security had them standing against the wall and waiting, so I assume their night ended poorly.

I'd get there relatively early, since as David said, you mix with the GA line for a while.

With an even ratio, might guest list be an option here? Probably still have to pay cover (vs buying advanced tickets) & tip, but might be worth it to get out of the GA line.

Haha...I've noticed them. I just haven't waited in one of them since my first trip to Vegas when I had no clue how things worked. Now that I do, lines are just something to walk by on my way into the club.

Back when the bank was called Light me and 2 friends were told to wait in this thing called a line, it took us a good 5 minutes just to find the end of it. Fortunately or so we thought... the end of the line ended up in front of a casino bar. So ofcourse one of us would jump out of this line to grab drinks shots of tequila etc. after 2 hours in line and multiple shot trips to the casino bars that the line snaked around we were deemed too intoxicated to be allowed in the club. FML never again lol

I'd say arrive early, 930 or earlier. I was there recently, and the new changes seemed to make greasing a little more difficult. Can't just walk up and ask. I was there earlier and knew someone who knew someone, so I had no problem... But, yeah arrive early. Get your hand stamped and then do whatever.

Tryst was even ratio, XS - all female friday/sat... I think Sunday and Monday were even ratio
