  • What music/What Club? Help needed!

Just wondering what each of the following clubs music type is, as it will no doubt help us narrow down our decision as to where to go.

    1) TAO
    2) Marquee
    3) LAX
    4) PURE
    5) LAVO
    6) XS
    7) The Bank
    8) MOON/Playboy
    9) Rain

As it stand we are currently thinking of hitting the following

    Thursday: Moon/Playboy ($75 open bar)
Friday: LAX (Convenience more than anything, we are staying at the Luxor)
Saturday: TAO or Marquee (Saturday night we are doing Bottle Service).
    Sunday: XS or LAVO

Thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers

    Thursday I would suggest Tryst.

Honestly, Tryst is one of my favorite clubs in Vegas...

Just been looking at official Tryst website as the review on jackcolton.com doesn't seem to work.

Can anybody tell me any more about it?
Also what sort of music do most of the clubs play? The majority of our group are into house music and current/top 40 stuff. Not many are in to RnB.

We choose Moon/Playboy because we are arriving in Vegas (after 22 hours travelling) on the Thursday at about 4pm, so quick nap, changed and out for $75 open bar (11pm-1am), more chilled out (from what i can gather) and then after 1am those that want to go back to the rooms can and those that want to stay out or go elsewhere can do their own thing as well.

LAX, like I said earlier was more of an ease thing than anything. Also we are thinking (probably wrongly!) that if we are staying at the Luxor they might be able to sort us out a good deal there. Everything is open to change though.......never again am I organizing a stag party!!!

What do you get exactly with the $75 open bar? Would it be suitable for a large group of guys?

From what I can gather (!), it's $75 for 3 hours open bar. They don't seem to discriminate against groups of lads, though they do limit it to a maximum of 4 tickets per purchase. That gains you access to Moon and your hosted bar between 11pm-1am. If you was to do the same on a Friday/Saturday night then the cost would be $145 per person. The hosted bar is in Moon only from what I can tell, but it is all access (i think).

Here is what it says on the website for the $75 ticket:
Moon Hosted Bar (Includes: Admission to Moon and Hosted Bar Featuring Ketel One Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Champagne, Red Bull, Fiji Water and Mixers from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tax and Gratuity Included.)

Could be completley wrong. In UK a hosted bar means an open bar and I can't imagine why you would pay $75 otherwise???

Bottle Service question. Do most places require equal guys to girls ratio to get in? If so which clubs and which clubs are more relaxed?

              Cheers again.

No (You might be confusing that with guest list, which normally requires even ratio or more girls than guys).

Just reading through Marquee Bottle Service Reservations list on the website. It says equal number of guys/girls ratio, though this policy can be relaxed at the doormans discretion, it defiantly was for Bottle Service as well. Weird? Not seen it for anywhere else.

I am by no means a club expert as most of the members here are, but I think a guy/girl ratio is strange for bottle service. As Bhart said, "the whole point of having a table for a group of all dudes is to offer pretty ladies a drink & a place to sit down!"

I was thinking exactly the same mate. That's why I thought it was weird when I read it! Haven't found it say anything like that other than the Marquee website though, so maybe just a policy that they have.

Does anybody know if their are any limits for the amount of people to a table, or does it vary from club to club. We have 10 guys going (including myself) and just wondering if it would be better to get 2 tables (two groups of five) or just ask for one table for all of us.

Pretty sure just one table would get you guys a better bang for you buck. There might be a table minimum of say $2000ish so you may be looking at $4000 minus tax and grat if you got two tables, whereas at one table you will probably have to get 4 bottles, which will still roughly be $2000 minus tax and grat. But once again, I am not an expert, just from my own research this last while.

It says even guy/girl for guest list and wrist bands, but I don't see it anywhere for bottle service either.

No. you can swing as much sausage as you like when you do bottle service. In fact, its better to either meet girls in the club and bring them to your table, or if you have girls in the group, set them up with guest list and have them meet you inside.

best advice (and this applies to most things) is to contact a host, let them know your group size and what you are looking for, and go from there. Depending on the club, and I'm assuming this is for a weekend, you're probably looking at a 3-4 bottle minimum. For Marquee, you're probably looking 2x this for a decent table in the main room, depending on the weekend. Marquee is the most in demand club in vegas at present, with XS only a half step behind.

Re space, its a bit how long is a piece of string. I'm not as seasoned an expert as many on the forum, but tables are generally bigger at some clubs than others, but all have different sized tables. Again, best best is to connect with the hosts and talk with them about what you need. You'll find that once you hit the club, nobody really wants to sit anyway - unless you've gone way to heavy on the prozac - so the table is just something to stick your drinks on and somewhere for the ladies to sit when they need to take a break.

but all the way back to your original question - what dates are your trip, and what music are you looking for? Some clubs are all/mostly EDM, some clubs are all/mostly top40 and hip hop, many clubs have different nights for each...
