Pronounced "Hock-a-saan"
This is very much along the same lines of how Tao operates out of the Venetian, except the food quality at Hakkasan is more high-end and pricier. I've been to the one at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, and although that one is just a restaurant, the feel is more high-end.
I anticipate that the dinner crowd and lounge on the bottom floor will get the energy going from 9-11pm and then the upstairs will be very swanky and well-themed. There are rumors that the top floor will have a deck/pool area that provides unbelievable views of the Vegas strip.Vegas Trips to-date:

don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of high-end chinese and think it will work, so I actually hope they don't go too funky on the fusion.
Couldn't help the mental image though of a chinese take out joint, which was kinda funny...but then again, the last time I tried to eat a box of noodles on the dance floor at Marquee, I got escorted out.... so maybe there's a market for it?
