Getting a Table

How easy is it to walk up to any club and get a table with bottle service there and then without making pre arranged booking?

Got 5 nights in Vegas this May and we will have tables every night. The thing is we do not want to book all our tables in advance. Ideally we would like the Sunday and Monday to be spontaneous with a go with the flow feel rather than knowing exactly where and when we have to be somewhere.

So far we have decided:

Thursday - Tao
Friday - Moon
Saturday - Cabana @ Wet then XS saturday night.
Sunday - Free night
Monday - Free night

Depends on the club, the night and how much money you're willing to spend on your bill and host tip.

Generally speaking you would be better served making a reservation earlier in the day than you would walking up to a packed club with no reservation. You want to make contact with a host in advance to make sure everything goes smoothly at the door and to have more time to secure a prime spot if budget allows.

For Sunday, I would suggest Lavo or The Bank and for Monday I would pick Marquee. If you choose The Bank, you definitely want to have an advanced reservation. The door is often chaotic.

I am a planner so always want hings set up and no hassles to deal with. However you may want a night to maybe chill at a smaller venue so it should be easy to call a host that day.

I've done this a couple of times, but you don't get very good tables options. Your table is often some weird left over one by the bathrooms and/or the price can be very high based on their availability.

Ive text a host while we were pregaming, and its not a problem on a normal weekend. Id never walk up to the door though. The deck is stacked in their favor, when you do that.

Pre-arrangement can mean less shakedown, no wait & makes the entrance much simpler.

London - on our trip last year in June, apart from the Fri, Sat, Sun , we just showed up on the night, asked to speak to a host and bought a table there and then, maybe not the best thing to do but it worked out ok for us. That was for Pure, Tryst, Tao and XS, no waiting either.
