EDC weekend?

Just realized my next Vegas trip will coincide with EDC.

It isn't something that interests me or my group, but I'm curious how it impacts the pools/clubs that weekend. Will minimums go up significantly or stay the same? How about size of the crowds? Will they change or be about normal for June?

Didn't actually go but if I remember correctly, the entire strip pretty much sold out. Last minute hotel reservations for even hotels like Imperial Palace were a couple hundred a night. I think I read something where XS had holiday pricing in effect for bottles. And this year Vegas plans to make a bigger event out of it with stuff planned midweek before through the Monday after. Long story short, I'd guess it will be packed and expensive. I am curious why nightclubs become more expensive though when everyone is at the speedway for EDC during the same hours.

EDC brought lots of huge EDM (electronic dance music) DJ's into Las Vegas but I recall rooms being so scarce that Hooters had only suites left for 549 & up! LOL

Fortunately I already have my room booked. Any insight on pool/club minimum increases?

Seems daft to increase the minimums when the majority of people there that weekend will be at the speedway !!

from what ive been reading and following Pasquale tweet's that its going to be EDC Week with the 3day festival closing it.
